Palestinian Toddler Disabled

HIBM Editorial by Avi Goldstein * Israelis Love Palestinian Children! – Dr. K. Daniel Fried, Editor in Chief –   copyright  © 2014  www.hopeofisrael.net

Palestinian toddler, Mohammed al-Farra, does not have any hands or feet! Did this happen in the Israel/Gaza war in the summer of 2014? No! This was caused by a genetic disorder. Because many of the families in Gaza intermarry, this can lead to disabled children being born. This can happen when cousins marry each other.

As a new-born Mohammed was taken to Israel’s Tel Hashomer Hospital. Because of complications from his genetic disorder, his hands and feet had to be amputated. He has been cared for and loved by the Israeli staff at the hospital for over 3 ½ years.

Mohammed’s Muslim father is ashamed of Mohammed’s disability. He pressured Mohammed’s mother to abandon him at the hospital. Mohammed’s father told his wife that if she did not abandon her disabled child that he would take another wife. As a result, she forsook Mohammed and went back into the arms of her uncompassionate husband. The Israeli hospital allows Mohammed’s Palestinian grandfather to stay there and help care for him.

Palestinians often try to make their Jewish neighbors look like villains and child killers. But, the truth is apparent when you examine a case like this precious, disabled, Palestinian toddler! The real villains are Palestinian parents who throw their own children away like trash. Even the Palestinian government refuses to pay for the health care of this sweet, little, Palestinian, disabled toddler. What can you expect? This child will not be able to help in the Palestinian war to destroy the Jews. Therefore he is of no benefit to them! This is certainly sad that they place so little value on human life. The God of the Bible, Torah, and the followers of the Bible put a great value on each precious person. One person, including Mohammed, is worth more than all the treasures of the world.

Matthew 16:26 “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

“There’s no care for this child in Gaza, there’s no home in Gaza where he can live,’ said the grandfather, Hamouda al-Farra.” (1) The cold-hearted parents of Mohammed and the citizens of Gaza refuse to open their homes and hearts to this disabled child, but the kind-hearted Jewish citizens of Israel have cared for Mohammed with warm, loving affection.

“Mohammed’s Israeli doctors, who’ve grown attached to the boy, fund-raise to cover his bills, allowing him and his grandfather to live in the sunny pediatric ward.” (2) One Jewish donor gave $28,000 for Mohammed’s prosthetics.

Someone may say that the care and love for this one child does not justify the killing of the children in the Israel/Gaza war in 2014. They would be absolutely right. But, put the blame on the guilty for the death of those Palestinian children. No one will honestly deny that children were killed when Israel was forced to attack Gaza. But, the blame for these children dying falls on Hamas terrorists and the citizens of Gaza. They teach their children to hate Jews. They brainwash them and encourage them to kill as many Jews as possible. Hamas hides among the Gaza civilians, including children, as they attack Israel. Many of the citizens of Gaza allow these Hamas terrorists to hide there. Because of the constant attacks on Israel, they must attack the enemy, who use their own people as human shields. If Hamas thought that it would help them kill Jews, they would eat their own children! They certainly have no problem killing them. Hamas and the Palestinians cannot justify the way they treat their own children.

I have not read any stories about Gaza citizens taking in a Jewish child to care for him and love him. Israel tries very hard not to harm the Palestinian children. In fact, they go out of their way to protect them. But, they are given no choice when one of them is pointing a machine gun at them or wearing a suicide belt with the intention of blowing up as many Jews as possible. Palestinians misuse their children as misguided instruments of war against Israel. Those who are not useful for their evil purpose are often thrown away, like Mohammed was.

It is time for the Palestinians to wake up to reality. Their god encourages hate toward their own children and others. But, the God of Israel encourages love, even to their enemies. The parents of Mohammed and the Palestinian government certainly offend this little child by their uncompassionate actions. The God of the Bible wants the little Palestinian children to come to Him for salvation. He loves them and He will punish those who choose to offend them. The Palestinians certainly offend their children by teaching them to hate the Jews and by discarding their disabled children, like Mohammed.

Luke 17:1-2 “Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.”

Matthew 19:13-15 “Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. 15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.”
