You well be able to listen to the greatest Messianic prophecy of the TANACH ( Old-Testament) which is Isaiah 53.  This prophecy was inspired by God  714 years before Christ Jesus first coming. Anybody that is seeking the truth with their whole heart will see clearly that this must be talking about Christ, the Messiah. If you read our article “How a Rabbi Found Peace”, it will explain away any so-called arguments to the contrary. In fact, this portion of the scripture was removed out of the Jewish Prayer Book many years ago for fear that the Jewish people might believe it is referring to Christ. It is absolutely talking about Him. The pictures below are all related to the Dead Sea Scrolls, especially, the Isaiah Scroll which is almost 2000 years old discovered in 1947 in the Qumran Caves. It is amazing how God preserved these scrolls, to prove to the world that Christ is indeed the Messiah and that the King James Bible is perfectly faithful to the original manuscripts.

Note that the book of Isaiah had approx. 100 Messianic Prophecies in it. Christ fulfilled every one of them regarding His 1st coming. One of the greatest statisticians proclaimed that the 0dds of one person fulfilling only one of these Messianic Prophecies would be like – flying over the state of Texas and throwing out a quarter size coin, landing the plane,  then attempting to discover where the coin dropped on the ground. You say the chances of finding the coin is near impossible, true! How much greater is it that Christ fulfilled over 100 Messianic Prophecies. No mere human could do it except he be the real Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. See our great article titled “Science Of Probability And Messianic Prophecy”

Isaiah 53
“1Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

Please consider the fact that Jesus is the promised Messiah, who fulfilled all Old Testament prophecy about the Messiah coming the first time when He came to save sinners. Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah 53 when He was crucified on the cross for all of our sins. Repent and believe of Jesus as your Saviour before it is too late! Please let us know if you ask Jesus to save you!
