It appears that Israel may be about to fulfill prophecy by making a seven-year peace agreement with their enemies! First, I will give a brief description of the prophesied seven-year peace agreement. Then, I will reveal how Israel and the world seem to be headed toward this false peace agreement.

According to prophecy in the Scriptures, Satan incarnate will negotiate a seven-year peace agreement for Israel. This evil beast is known as the Antichrist. He will be one of the persons of Satan’s unholy trinity. The Antichrist will work under the authority of Satan, just as Christ works under the authority of God the Father. He will be a false imitator of Christ. Unlike Christ, the Antichrist’s peace for Israel will be false!

The nation of Israel greatly desires peace in these perilous times of war. If the present marathon negotiations in Egypt lead to a seven-year peace agreement, this could be the landmark agreement of fulfilling prophecy. The prophecy of a seven-year peace agreement for Israel is proclaimed throughout the Bible.

Daniel 9:27 “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

According to prophecy, in the book of Daniel, there will be a seven-year (one week) peace agreement in the end-times. Satan, the Prince of the Power of the Air, with his smooth, forked, lying tongue will pull this false peace agreement out of his devilish bag of tricks, Ephesians 2:2.

This covenant, agreement, will be confirmed for one week (7 years). This prophesied week represents seven years. This is an established fact for those who have spiritual discernment. This can be verified by the fact that Jacob had to work one week to earn the right to marry Rachel. It is apparent that the one week represented seven years, just as it does in the book of Daniel.

Genesis 29:27-28 “Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years. 28 And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.”

This seven-year covenant for peace will be broken in the middle of the seven years by the Antichrist, the Devil incarnate. This false promise of peace will be shattered after three and one-half years, according to the prophecy in Daniel and other prophecies.

The breaking of the seven-year covenant can be especially verified in Revelation 12:5-17. Please look this up in the King James Bible. All other English translations are corrupted by Satan’s forked tongue. Notice here in Revelation 12 that the prophecy covers a vast amount of time.

First, it is apparent that Israel gave birth to our Saviour, Jesus. Even though He died, Jesus will come back, as the Messiah, to rule the world. He will bring true, eternal peace to Israel.

During the seven-year false peace agreement, there will be a great war in heaven between the good and bad Angels. Satan and his evil Angels will lose this war in the middle of the seven-year peace agreement that will be confirmed by his cohort, the Antichrist.

Satan and his cohort, the Antichrist, will demand to be worshiped by the Jews. Many of them will refuse to worship the Antichrist and Satan. As a result, the Antichrist will break the seven-year peace agreement with Israel after three and one-half years. Those Jews who refuse to worship these ungodly villains will flee to a place of safety for a “…thousand two hundred and threescore days.” [1, 260 days], Revelation 12:6. Normally, a year consists of 365 days in our modern-day calendar. But, in the Scriptures, it appears that a prophetic year consists of 360 days. If you use the prophetic year of 360 days, you can divide 360 into the 1,260 prophesied days in Revelation 12:6. This results in the remaining three and one-half years of the broken seven-year peace agreement. Satan will be furious because of being thrown out of heaven. But, God will protect the Jews for the next three and one-half years. This is declared in Revelation 12:14. Here the three and one-half years of God protecting Israel is called, “…time [1 year], and times [2 years], and half a time [½ year],…”. Many believe that this place of safety will be Petra. This place is a rock fortress. Many people have visited Petra, and they realize that it is an ideal place for God to protect His chosen people, Israel.

It appears that Satan continually approaches God from the second heaven. The atmosphere around the earth, where the birds fly, is considered to be the first heaven. Beyond that is the second heaven in outer-space. Then the third Heaven is where the Holy Angels, the departed saints, and God dwell together. During the middle of the seven-year Tribulation period, Satan and his unholy Angels will be cast out of the second heaven.

Revelation 12:7-9 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Once Satan and his evil cohorts are cast out of heaven, he will not be able to falsely accuse the saved people any more by approaching the third Heaven. His accusations have always failed against the saints of God. Our plea of having our sins all covered by the blood of Jesus defeats the Devil every time. Jesus our mediator and advocate defends us before God the Father. Our good deeds do not save us from Hell. But, a believer’s true salvation is shown by their testimony and faithful works.

Revelation 12:10-11 “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

It is in God’s plan to refine Israel during this proposed, prophesied seven-year satanic tainted peace agreement. This will be the final week (7 years) of the 70 weeks of years (490 years) prophesied by Daniel, in Daniel 9:24.

Those who are familiar with the Scriptures know that this seven-year period of false peace will be a seven-year Tribulation allowed by God. God is preparing a remnant of Israel to rule with Him in His millennial (1,000 years) kingdom and beyond into eternity. Because God is all knowing, the details of the seven-year Tribulation are given in Revelation 6-19. During the seven-year Tribulation, the evil wrath of Hell will erupt and the holy wrath of Heaven will rain down from Heaven upon mankind! God and his Holy Angels will fight against Satan and his unholy Angels. It will be the battle of the ages for the souls of mankind!

Everyone who is saved before the seven-year Tribulation begins will be translated to Heaven. Many people know this as the Rapture of the church of believers. Those people who put their trust in Jesus as their personal Saviour will not take part in the seven-year tribulation. Presently, the Holy Spirit is restraining Satan, but during the seven-year Tribulation, God will use him to finish His work with the nation of Israel. Israel will be refined like pure gold. Before the Tribulation begins, the Holy Spirit will continue to restrain Satan and his cohorts. As God, the Holy Spirit only allows Satan so much rope. During the Tribulation, Satan will be given enough rope to hang himself with. Since every believer has the indwelling Holy Spirit, we also help restrain the evil works of Satan. But, there is much evidence in the Scripture to show that believers will be removed from the earth so that Satan can carry out God’s plan. Satan’s goal is to do evil, but God will use Satan to refine Israel. The fulfillment of prophecy should excite every Christian. Christians should not fear the coming prophesied seven-year Tribulation period. During that time, we will be rejoicing in Heaven with our Saviour, Jesus.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

The Jerusalem Post reported that Israel is potentially pursuing a seven-year agreement of peace with her Arab enemies. If a seven-year peace agreement is reached, this could very well be the prophesied seven-year covenant of Daniel 9:27.

Egypt negotiators have been working over-time to strike a deal of peace between Israel and her enemies. It appears that they could be at the door of reaching a peace agreement, according to some Islamic Jihad and independent Palestinian sources.

‘“There is optimism, and it seems as if the chances of reaching an agreement are better than they’ve ever been thus far,’ said a Palestinian source currently in Cairo.” (1)

Likewise, Israel seems to be favoring a long-term peace agreement with her Arab enemies.

“Tarek Fahmi, the head of the Israeli Unit at the Egyptian National Center for Middle East Studies, said that ‘the goal of the talks today is to neutralize the main crisis points, particularly [the question of] the Gaza airport and Israeli concessions regarding the sea, as well as the issue of the tunnels.’ Fahmi said that the negotiating sessions that took place on Monday were ‘critical.’

‘Israel insists on demilitarizing the Gaza Strip from rockets and missiles, and the declaration of a cease-fire that would last between five and seven years,’ he said.” (2)

“Fahmi added that there was an American proposal to bring the talks before UN mediation if the Cairo discussions fail to produce a deal.” (3)

It appears that the whole world is Hell-bent on bringing in the prophesied false peace. Of course, God’s plan to refine Israel, during the seven-year Tribulation, will take place, according to God’s schedule.

Presently, there is still a vast disagreement about the terms of a peace agreement. The Arabs want an airport, seaport, a strong military, and they want the blockade into Gaza removed. Israel is against these things because they realize that this could give their enemies the opportunity to wipe them off the face of the earth.

If the prophesied seven-year peace agreement is about to be fulfilled, a super villain, the Antichrist, will step in and negotiate this false peace agreement. But, the Scriptures tell us that this satanic peace agreement will lead to the destruction of many!

1 Thessalonians 5:3 “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

To the natural man, it seems that a seven-year peace agreement, between Israel and her enemies would be a good thing. But, God told them not to make a covenant with their enemies. God knows that Israel’s enemies intend on destroying them. Also, the enemies of Israel will corrupt them with false gods.

Exodus 23:31-33 “And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee. 32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. 33 They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.”

Because Israel is starving for peace, they will fall for the Devil’s trap of false peace. Could it be that the seven-year false peace agreement of prophecy is about to be signed? Christians, look up, your redemption draws near!
