It is possible that Argentina is being judged with locusts because of its mistreatment of the Jews of Israel. There may be a curse of locusts on Argentina because it protected Nazi war criminals in the past. Also, there could be a curse of locusts and other curses on Argentina because they are siding with the enemies of Israel who want to take part of the Promise Land and give it to Arab Palestinians.
“Immediately after World War II, Argentina was a safe haven for former Nazi officials because they brought badly needed capital investment and/or technical expertise.” (1)
Often countries are willingly to sell out to evil for financial gain. This is exactly what Argentina did after World War II. After Hitler had millions of Jews and others murdered with his evil war machine, many of the Nazi officers fled to other countries to hide. Sadly, many of these countries took them in. But, there is no escaping the judgment of God when you do wrong to His chosen people, the Jews.
“In 2010, Argentina announced the intention to join Brazil in recognizing an independent Palestinian state, provoking sharp criticism from Israel.” (2)
Starting in 2010, Argentina joined other anti-Israel countries in an attempt to force the Jews to give up some of the Promised Land to form an independent Palestinian state for the Arabs. Every last inch of land promised in the Scriptures to the Jews in Israel belongs to the Jews. Anyone who tries to take it away from them is certain to face the judgment of God. Recent attacks by swarms of locusts on Argentina may be judgment from God.
“[The picture in this post is] a swarm of locusts in September in the Lavalle area of Santiago del Estero Province, Argentina. Farmers last year reported seeing swarms that were four miles wide and two miles high.” (3)
Argentina officials say that it may be too late to stop the biggest plague of locusts in 60 years. We encourage Argentina to fully support the Jews of Israel and obey God before it is too late.
There are many Scriptures that warn nations not to mess with God’s chosen people, the Jews:
Zechariah 2:8-9 “For thus saith the LORD of hosts [Jesus, the Messiah]; After the glory hath he [God the Father] sent me [Jesus, the Messiah] unto the nations which spoiled you [Israel]: for he [enemies of the Jews] that toucheth you [Israel] toucheth the apple of his [God’s] eye. 9 For, behold, I [Jesus, the Messiah] will shake mine hand upon them [enemies of the Jews], and they [enemies of the Jews] shall be a spoil to their servants [Jews]: and ye [Jews] shall know that the LORD of hosts [God] hath sent me [Jesus, the Messiah].”
During the prophesied Tribulation, Jesus, the Messiah, the LORD of HOSTS, will come to the rescue of Israel, consisting of Jews. God, the Father, will send Jesus, the Messiah, to rescue the Jews when it looks to them like all hope is lost. The Lord of Hosts has rescued Israel from enemy nations many times in the past. Often, the Lord of Hosts uses His holy angels to protect the Jews of Israel. Jesus has the same glory that God, the Father, possesses. Jesus, the Son, is to be honored, just as God, the Father, is to be honored. Nations, including Babylon, have raided Israel and took their treasures. They even took the holy instruments of the Temple. God used Babylon to judge Israel. But, God also judged Babylon for mistreating the Jews. Even though the Jews of Israel have failed God many times, they are still the apple of His eye. This means that the Jews are precious to God, and their very image is in God’s eye sight. If a nation messes with the Jews, they are messing with God. Jesus will protect Israel, the apple of His eye. God makes this promise to rescue the Jews because He knows that a Jewish remnant will trust in Jesus as their Saviour, when Jesus comes back in the Second Coming to the Mount of Olives, Zechariah 2:8.
In the Battle of Armageddon, Jesus, the Messiah, will fight against the enemies of the Jews of Israel. When King Jesus shakes His hand at the enemies of the Jews, they will fall in defeat. All of the nations that have tried to take Israel’s Promised Land from them will be spoiled before Jesus. Many nations have held Jews in slavery because they are considered a national treasure. These nations will be held accountable for being masters over the Jews. Also, many nations have lusted after the natural treasures of Israel. Oil is one of the natural treasures of Israel that God has put in the ground for them. Jesus will spoil these enemy nations of Israel in every way. The Jews will come in a take the spoils from their enemies. All of the Jews rescued by Jesus at His Second Coming will finally know that Jesus is their true and only Messiah. They will see the pierce marks in His body. Jesus came and died on the cross to be the Saviour of the Jews. When Jesus returns to the Earth, He will save them from the political and military attacks of the nations of the world. The citizens of nations, like Argentina, and others need to fully support the Jews before it is too late. Jesus is the Lord of Hosts, and He is coming back to rescue the apple of God’s eye. Jesus, the Lord of Hosts, will rule from Jerusalem for one thousand years after the seven-year Tribulation, Zechariah 2:9.
Isaiah 24:23 “Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts [Jesus] shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his [Jesus’] ancients [Old Testament saints] gloriously.”
Now is the time to bow before Jesus in repentance. Believe on Jesus as your personal Saviour today. Call to Jesus and ask Him to save you before it is too late. If you have to bow before God at the Great White Throne Judgment as an unbeliever, it will be too late to be saved then. You will be covered in shame, instead of the glory that flows as a result of the work that Jesus accomplished on the cross to cover your sins.
