Doctrinal Statement

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE DOCTRINES OF THE FAITH

1.  Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, the 66 books of the Bible, are infallible, inerrant,  verbally inspired of God, providentially  preserved in the King James Bible for the English speaking people. The Bible is the supreme and final authority for faith and practice.

2.  Triune Godhead
We believe in only one God existing in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are co-equal in power and glory as well as co-eternal.

3.   Incarnation
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe in the Eternal Sonship of Christ, meaning that He always was – eternity past, and always will be the Son of God.

4.  Holy Sprit
We believe the  Holy Spirit, the third person of the Triune Godhead, convicts the world of sin, of   righteousness and of judgement. He indwells the believer and empowers the preaching and teaching of the Gospel.

5.   Man
We believe that man, created in the image of God sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature. Every born again believer possesses two natures (the old man and the new man). All claims as to the eradication of the old nature are heretical. We will never lose the sin nature until we go to be with Christ.

6.  Atonement
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our Sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe in Him are   justified by, His blood.

7.  Resurrection
We believe in the literal resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into Heaven and His present life there as High Priest and    Advocate for us.

8.  Salvation
We believe that salvation is by the grace of God, purchased and offered to all souls, received as a free gift by a repentant sinner who in faith trusts Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour.  Salvation was accomplished by Christ’s death and most importantly through His sinless shed blood upon the cross. Without His shed blood salvation could never be  possible.  Salvation is solely upon the merit of what Christ has done for us, including His resurrection from the dead on the third day.     Once redeemed we are kept by the power and grace of God, eternally secure in Christ. We can never lose our salvation under any condition. This is NOT a license to sin, but liberty to please the Lord Jesus Christ who has saved us FROM sin and not IN sin.

9.   Last Days
We believe in that blessed hope, the personal pre-tribulation, pre-millennial  and imminent return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

10. Future State
All men shall receive a bodily  resurrection; the saved to eternal life and   unsaved to eternal damnation. Prior to the resurrection death holds the presence of God for the believer in soul and spirit, with the body   resuming to the grave, asleep, and awaiting the future    resurrection. For the unbeliever, death means the departure of the soul and spirit into hell-fire, with the body also awaiting a future resurrection, at which time death and hell shall be cast into the Lake of Fire.

11. Satan
We believe in a personal devil, Satan, the old deceiver, a liar from the beginning;  who is still working in the world to destroy the souls of men, and that he will be cast, with all his angels and all who will not receive Christ as  Saviour and Lord, in to the Lake of Fire, to be eternally tormented.

12. Church
We believe in the Church, the Body of Christ, whose mission is given in Matthew 28:19, 20. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” All of the church’s endeavors should be  supported by God’s financial plan of tithes, offerings, and faith  promise. Each local church is to be  independent and autonomous and free from political authority or  ecclesiastical hierarchy, the Lord Jesus being the only Head.

13. Biblical Separation
We believe in the believer’s separation from the world and in his striving for the holiness unto which God has called His children. The believer should “abstain from all appearance of evil.” The Bible teaches us to separate from all apostasy and heresy, and all other movements not in agreement with the holy word of God. Regarding Music, there is no such thing as so-called “Christian Rock” or “Christian Rap” etc. etc. We are taught  in the scriptures to listen to godly and Christ honoring music and to separate ourselves from the worldly and ungodly styles of music & lyrics.

14. Ordinances
In obedience to the Lord, only born again believers should be  baptized (immersed in water) to demonstrate his faith in Christ and to typify the  death,    burial,   and resurrection of our Lord  Jesus Christ. The Lord’s supper should be done often as a memorial of what Christ  has  done  for  the  believer.   As  clearly taught in the Bible, the wine is unfermented and therefore new, and the bread is unleavened symbolic of the pure and spotless life of Christ.

15. Creation
We believe that the Genesis account of creation is to be accepted literally and not allegorically or figuratively (Genesis 1:1-5, 8,13,19,23,31;2:2; Exodus. 20:11); that man was created directly in God’s own image and after His own likeness (Gen 1:26,27); that man’s creation was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary change of species or development through interminable periods of time from lower to higher forms; that all animal and vegetable life were made directly by God, and God’s established law was that they should bring forth only “after their kind”. We reject evolution, and deny any form of atheistic or theistic evolution (Rom. 1:19,20).

16.  Dispensationalism
We believe that the Scriptures interpreted in their natural, literal sense reveal divinely determined seven dispensations or rules of life, which define man’s responsibilities in successive ages.  These dispensations are not ways of salvation, but rather are divinely ordered stewardships by which God directs man according to his purpose.  (Genesis 1:28, I Corinthians 9:17, II Corinthians 3:9-18, Galatians 3:13-25, Ephesians 1:10, 3:2-10, Colossians 1:24-25,27, Revelation 20:2-6)

17. Civil Government
We believe that God has ordained and created all authority consisting of three basic institutions: 1) the Home, 2) the Church, and 3) the State.  Every person is subject to these authorities, but all (including the authorities themselves) are answerable to God and are to be governed by His Word.  God has given each institution specific Biblical responsibilities and balanced those responsibilities with the understanding that no institution has the right to infringe upon the other. If in the case where the Bible contradicts the government or the laws of the land, the Bible will always prevail, therefore we must always obey God and His word rather than man and his governance. (Romans 13:1-7, Ephesians 5:22-24, 6:1-2, Hebrews 13:17, I Peter 2:13-14; Acts 5:29)

18.  Human Sexuality
We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity should be engaged in outside of marriage between a man and a woman.  We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, gender change, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversion of God’s gift of sex and must be totally abstained from. (Genesis 2:24, Genesis 19:5, 13, Genesis 26:8-9, Leviticus 18:1-30, Romans 1:26-29, I Corinthians 5:1, 6:9, I Thessalonians 4:1-8, Hebrews 13:4)

19. Marriage
We believe that marriage is a divine institution whereby God joins a man and a woman together in the bonds of Holy Matrimony, thus making the two become one. What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder, and because of that divorce is never an option;  Missionaries, Evangelist, Pastors, Deacons, who have been divorced are dis-qualified. We believe that marriage is the foundation of home life and social order and must remain so until the end of this present world. Since the marriage of a man and a woman is the only type of marriage taught in the Scriptures, we reject any and all same-sex marriage. Polygamy is never acceptable. (Genesis 2:18-24, Matthew 19:4-6, John 2:1-10, Ephesians 5:25-33, Revelation 19:7-9 Rom2:22)

20.  Abortion
We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being.  Abortion constitutes the unjustified, unexcused taking of unborn human life.  Abortion is murder.  We reject any teaching that abortions of pregnancies due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control, or the mental well being of the mother are acceptable. There is never justification for Abortion.  (Job 3:16, Psalms 51:5, Psalms 139:14-16, Isaiah 44:24 Isaiah 49:1, 5, Jeremiah 1:5, 20:15-18, Luke 1:44)

21. Christian Conduct
We believe that we should demonstrate love for others, not only toward fellow believers, but also toward both those who are not believers and those who oppose us. We are to deal with those who oppose us graciously, gently, patiently, and humbly. God forbids the stirring up of strife, the taking of revenge, or the threat or the use of violence as a means of resolving personal conflict or obtaining personal justice. Although God commands us to abhor sinful actions, we are to love and pray for any person who engages in such sinful actions. All irreconcilable disputes between the brethren should be resolved through the mediation of the church leadership. (Lev. 19:18; Matt. 5:44-48; Luke 6:31; John 13:34-35; Rom. 12:9-10; 17-21; 13:8-10; Phil. 2:2-4; 2 Tim. 2:24-26; Titus 3:2; 1 John 3:17-18)

22. Missions
We believe that God has given the Church a Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations, to the Jew First and also to the Greek; so that there might be a great multitude from every kindred, tongue, people and nation redeemed by Grace through Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  As Ambassadors of Christ we must use all available means to go to the sinners at home and abroad with the Gospel and not wait for them to come to us.

23.  Israel
On authority of God’s Holy Word, we take a solid stand in favor of the existence and protection of the Nation of Israel and her spiritual well-being. We believe all the land of “Palestine” including the borders outlined in the scriptures ( Genesis 15:18-21; Exodus 23:31; Deut 1:7; 11:23-24 )  belong to the Jews the Chosen People of God, by an eternal title deed given by God himself, and that Jerusalem is her capital where God’s name is. We are commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for all Israel to be saved. It is also commanded for us to reach out and evangelize the world with the gospel. Rom 1:16 is still in the Bible, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

24. Religious Freedom & Freedom of Speech
We believe that religious freedom should never become a cloak to infringe upon the Biblical ideals which this nation was founded; that freedom of speech should never violate God’s moral laws outlined in the King James Bible; that Christians are encouraged to be the salt of the earth and thereby responsible to take part in the political process and spiritual well-being of the Untied States of America.

If the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do?

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God (Psalms 9:17)
