Jewish Town Under Attack!

It appears that the Biblical values of a Hasidic Jewish town in New York are being attacked on every side. They are being attacked over an alleged sex abuse of school children, education standards, and the misuse of government funds.

Those people who seek to be spiritual understand the importance of proper, godly clothes as proclaimed on the town sign of Kiryas Joel. Those who are trying to please God should not be naked in public. Since the thigh goes down to the knee, it would be showing your nakedness by wearing clothes that come above the knee. Many dictionaries define the thigh as the part of the leg between the hip and the knee. The Scriptures plainly tell us if the thigh is bare that our nakedness is being displayed. Women are also told to wear modest apparel.

Isaiah 47:2-3 “Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. 3Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.”

These verses in Isaiah plainly tell us that God will take vengeance on those who oppose the Jews. The lewd acts of the world are not hid from God. Also, the principle is clearly taught in these verses that an individual who shows their thigh by immodest dress is displaying their nakedness. This is shameful. Those Hasidic Jews in Kiryas Joel should be honored for their moral stand on proper dress.

1 Timothy 2:9-10 “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.”

A godly woman should not draw attention to her body by wearing immodest clothes. Instead she should do good works that draw attention to God and cause others to obey the Scriptures.

Appropriate language is expected in Kiryas Joel. It is not uncommon to hear people in public, including in the work place, using God’s name in vain. This is disgraceful. No one should be forced into a situation where they have to hear cursing all day long. In fact, as suggested by the sign in the Hasidic Jewish town of Kiryas Joel, no corrupt language should come out of our mouth.

Exodus 20:7 “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.”

It is very dangerous to use God’s name in vain. Be careful what you say!

Ephesians 4:29-32 “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

It grieves God, the Holy Spirit, when corrupt words come from our mouth. Everyone should be encouraged to speak kind, compassionate and forgiving words to others.

Our hats go off to honor the Hasidic Jewish town of Kiryas Joel for their high moral standards.

Of course, we are against an adult sexually abusing a school child. It is true they should face the legal justice system. But it is very possible that the sexual abuse case is false.

Many corrupt politicians would like to force the Hasidic Jewish town of Kiryas Joel to teach sex education and evolution in their schools. The Hasidic Jewish town of Kiryas Joel teaches the Scriptures. Sex education that is taught in the public schools has resulted in many babies being born out of wedlock.

The false teaching of evolution defies all of the things that God created. Since the Bible has been banned from the public schools, crime has increased, even in the schools. Students are murdering other students in mass murders. The Columbine High School in Colorado is a result of taking the Bible out of school.

If someone has misused the money given to them by the government for technology, they certainly should be held accountable. But it is wrong to attack the whole Hasidic Jewish town of Kiryas Joel for the potential sins of a few. It is very possible that these allegations against this Jewish town are being fabricated as a means to attack the Jews of this town who have chosen to take a moral stand based on the Scripture.

If some of the leaders in the Hasidic Jewish town of Kiryas Joel are corrupt, they should be brought to justice. But you do not throw a whole basket of apples away just because there are a few rotten ones. It is time to quit attacking these Jews who have high moral standards based on the Scriptures.

Various Hasidic groups have a Rebbe leader who is called the righteous one. Since we are all sinners, let us point our Jewish brothers and sisters to the true Righteous One. Jesus is the true Righteous One!

Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

If we try to stand before God in the judgment with our own righteousness, we will be rejected because of our unrighteous thoughts and deeds.

Isaiah 11:1-4  “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Jesse was David’s father. Jesus is the Branch who came from the physical line of David. Jesus is God in the flesh. He is the only Righteous One as described in the verses. He will rule this Earth in the future, as the Messiah. We encourage you to repent of your sins and believe on Jesus as your Saviour. He will count you righteous in the judgment. Like the publican sinner, call on Jesus in prayer and ask Him to save you.
