Judgment-Seat-Of-Christ-3-Photo-Shop After the Battle of Armageddon, Jesus will sit on the throne of David judging the twelve tribes of Israel. According to Romans, all Israel shall be saved because they will look upon him who they have pierced. As a result of seeing Jesus, they will all be saved accepting Jesus as their Saviour and Messiah. All through history, since Christ came, thousands of Jews have been saved. Sadly, many false teachers are claiming that Jews do not need to be saved. But, many Jews can tell you that Jesus has become their Saviour.

Revelation 4:2 “And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.”

The first thing that John sees in Heaven is God the Father sitting on His throne. Many people mistakenly think that this is Jesus sitting on the throne in Revelation 4:3. But, with careful reading of Revelation 4 and 5, it can be seen that Jesus is in the throne area, but He is not sitting on the throne at that time, Revelation 4:2. With human thrones, they are normally only big enough for one person. But, God’s throne is capable of encompassing the triune God. He is one God who express Himself in three persons. The size of God’s throne will be seen when we read Revelation 3:20-21 below. Jesus will be there in the throne area to receive the crowns cast at His feet.

Jesus certainly is worthy to sit on God’s throne because He is God. Of course, we do not believe that there is more than one God. But, the Scriptures teach Jesus has the same glory as God the Father and that Jesus is in the express image of God the Father. We believe in one God who is triune, as taught in the Scriptures. Our one God reveals Himself in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. We are limited to one body, but God is not limited like created beings are.

Hebrews 1:1-3 “God…2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”

Jesus can rightfully sit on the throne of God next to God the Father. Jesus can sit on God’s throne because He is God.

Hebrews 1:8 “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.”

God the Father is quoted as saying that Jesus is God. The Father said because Jesus is God, His throne is forever.

Revelation 3:20-21 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”

Jesus will have His own throne when He rules on Earth for a thousand years, but He also shares the throne of God the Father. Jesus told those who overcome that they will sit in His throne with him. Just as the throne of God is big enough to encompass our triune God, the throne of Jesus in Israel will be big enough so that all those who overcome sin will be able to sit on Jesus’ throne with Him. Therefore, it can be seen that the throne in Heaven and on Earth will be bigger than just one seat for one person at a time.

Matthew 19:28 “And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

When Jesus sits on the throne of David in the future, He will judge the twelve tribes of Israel. The twelve apostles of Jesus Christ will take part in the judgment of Israel.

Israel and the other nations will be judged near the end of the seven-year prophesied Tribulation period. Old Testament Jews will not be a part of the bride of Christ who is caught up in the Rapture! God has made some special promises to Israel. There will be a Jewish remnant who accepts Jesus as their Saviour. They will get to enjoy the Promised Land of Israel during the thousand-year reign of Jesus on Earth. But, those who die rejecting Jesus will be raised in shame and face the judgment of Hell.

Daniel 12:1-3 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”

Take note that Michael the angel will stand up for Daniel’s people, the Jews. This passage is not about Gentiles. There will be a time of trouble. This is known as the prophesied seven-year Tribulation. Those who repent and believe on Jesus as Saviour will be delivered. The bodies of the Jews in the graves will be resurrected at that time. Some of them will be saved and live forever with God, but, some will face the shame of being lost. They will continue to have contempt for Jesus Christ. They will despise what He did for them. But, it will be their everlasting loss by being tormented in the Lake of Fire. God will surround believing Jews with an eternal light. God has a special place in His heart for those who turn others to righteousness.

Romans 11:26-28 “And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.”

Romans 11:26-28 is not a promise that all Jews will be saved in the past, present, and future, but it is a reference to a remnant of Jews who will all be saved physically and spiritually when Jesus comes out of Sion as a Deliverer. From that point on, all Jews will be saved in fulfillment of prophecy.

Some so called Bible teachers are taking this passage of Scripture, from Romans 11, and misleading the Jews by teaching them a lie about their salvation. John Hagee teaches this lie about all Jews being saved through the laws of Moses. John Hagee’s ministry to the Jews is a social and political ministry. John Hagee does not try to get the Jews saved through Jesus because he believes that they are saved by keeping the laws of Moses. This false teaching of John Hagee is due to his misinterpretation of Romans 11 and other Scriptures. His ministry tells the Jews that they do not have to worry because the Scriptures promise them that they will all be saved from Hell because they are Jews who need to follow the laws of Moses, instead of accepting Jesus. They read and quote the first part of Romans 11:26 to falsely tell them that they are automatically saved if they are Jews who follow the laws of Moses. But, they fail to say that the Jews all being saved will happen when the Deliverer comes out of Sion. Remember, this is making reference to when Jesus comes to rescue the Jews of Israel near the end of the prophesied seven-year Tribulation. At that time, all of the Jews who are alive will be saved. Meanwhile, many Jews are dying and going to Hell because they are misled either by a misguided Rabbi or a false Christian Evangelist to the Jews,  like John Hagee, Zechariah 14.

We certainly need to help the Jews as much as possible socially and politically, but the most important thing that they need is the gospel for salvation. You do not have to take our word for it about John Hagee’s false teaching concerning salvation of the Jews. Notice the following quotes below from John Hagee:

John Hagee in his own words ‘Jesus did not come to the earth to be the Messiah’ – from John Hagee’s book, ‘In Defense of Israel’:

‘The Jewish people have a relationship to God through the law of God as given through Moses,’ Hagee said. ‘I believe that every Gentile person can only come to God through the cross of Christ. I believe that every Jewish person who lives in the light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption. The law of Moses is sufficient enough to bring a person into the knowledge of God until God gives him a greater revelation. And God has not,’ said Hagee, giving his interpretation of Romans 11:25. ‘Paul abandoned the idea (of Jews knowing Christ). In the book of Romans, he said, `I am now going to go to the Gentiles from this time forward. Judaism doesn’t need Christianity to explain its existence. But Christianity has to have Judaism to explain its existence.’ Houston Chronicle

‘I’m not trying to convert the Jewish people to the Christian faith,’ he [Hagee] said. ‘There is nothing in the `night to honor Israel that does that.’ In fact, trying to convert Jews is a ‘waste of time,’ he [Hagee] said. ‘The Jewish person who has his roots in Judaism is not going to convert to Christianity. There is no form of Christian evangelism that has failed so miserably as evangelizing the Jewish people. They (already) have a faith structure. Everyone else, whether Buddhist or Baha’i, needs to believe in Jesus,’ he [Hagee] says. ‘But not Jews. Jews already have a covenant with God that has never been replaced by Christianity,’ he [Hagee] says. Houston Chronicle”(1)

Also, notice the following quote about John Hagee’s teaching:

Does John Hagee teach Dual Covenant Theology? Yes, he does.

How do I know this? A friend of mine who lives in Israel met with Pastor Hagee and his staff including Cheryl Morrison, a key Director in CUFI – Christians United For Israel. At this meeting, attended by over 5,000, she was told by both Pastor Hagee and Cheryl Morrison that ‘Jews are saved by the Abrahamic covenant’ He told them, in effect, that they do not need Jesus because they have God’s promise to Abraham.

This is a fact, this happened a few weeks ago. This is not something I “found on the Internet”, this is a real-life story that happened to someone I am personal friends with. Needless to say, when she [a Jewish woman] told me this I was floored. I had been sharing the Gospel with her for well over a year, and now here she was telling me that John Hagee and CUFI assured her that all she needed to get to Heaven was the Abrahamic Covenant. It broke my heart.” (2)

Zechariah 13:8-9 “And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. 9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.”

The remaining third of Jews left from the Battle of Armageddon will all be saved. But, many of those who are killed in the battle will be lost. They will face the torments of Hell. In the past, present, and future, Jews have to accept Jesus just like the Gentiles do to be saved. In Zechariah 13, we can see that all of the living Jews who survive the Battle of Armageddon receive Jesus as their Saviour. Therefore, this will be the fulfillment of all of Israel being saved. It is talking about this particular time, not all of the time. Judas, who betrayed Jesus, was a Jew, but he was said to be of the Devil. Certainly, he was not saved. Many others are trusting in their own righteousness, and that will not save them from the penalty of sin. In order to be saved, each Jew must repent and believe on the Lord Jesus as their Saviour. Only Jesus can save them from their sins.

Romans 10:1-3 “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.”

If God had promised that every Jew, in all times, would be saved, Paul would not have needed to desire or pray for them to be saved. It is a false idea to believe that all Jews would be saved. Paul did not believe that or teach that. Paul recognized that many were trying to be saved so that they could be in God’s kingdom by doing right, keeping God’s law. Paul said they could only be saved by submitting to the righteousness of God. God is willing to count Jews as righteous if they put their faith in the righteousness of Jesus Christ to save them.

Jesus came to save the Jews, and in the future, He will be your Messiah if you repent and believe on Him as your Saviour. He came to save sinners. Call on Jesus to save you today before it is too late!
