Lucifer, who is also known as Satan, the Serpent, and the Devil, is falsely claimed to be the Morning Star or the Day Star in some of the corrupt Bible translations. You can be sure that Satan, the false Morning Star/Day Star, will be cast down by Jesus the King of kings.
CORRECT: Revelation 22:16 “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” (King James Bible)
The King James Bible correctly says that Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star. The sun rising in the morning symbolically reminds us everyday that Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star who gives light to those in spiritual darkness.
CORRECT: 2 Peter 1:19 “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:” (King James Bible)
Not only does the sun come up as the morning star, but it shines bright all day long as the day star. Jesus is the Day Star who can give light to the dark, sinful heart anytime of the day. As the Day Star, Jesus is the source of light. He is not dependent on anyone else for light.

Lucifer means light bearer. Jesus created Lucifer and allowed him to walk in His light. Lucifer was a very beautiful angel. The Morning Star/Day Star, Jesus gave Lucifer light. But Lucifer rejected this pure light and chose to offer false light to mankind. Lucifer was the “son of the morning”. He has never been the source of light. But light from the Morning Star, Jesus reflected off of him until he rebelled against God. Lucifer has never been the Morning Star or the Day Star. These are names that are exclusively given to Jesus to show mankind His character.
Notice the following verses taken from perverted versions of the Bible. In particular, we will focus on the use of Jesus’ names Morning Star and Day Star! There may be other things wrong with the verses, but that is not the subject of this discussion. The following perversions of the Bible will be examined: New International Version (NIV), New American Standard Version (NASV), Revised Standard Version (RSV), New Revised Standard Version (NRSV), New Century Version (NCV) and the Tree of Life Version (TLV).

You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! 13 You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.[b] 14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ 15 But you are brought down to the realm of the dead, to the depths of the pit.” (NIV)
In Isaiah 14:12-15 of the NIV, there is a contradiction with Revelation 22:16 about who the Morning Star is. The King James Bible properly tells us that this is Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12, but the NIV does not tell us that Lucifer, the fallen angel, is being talked about here. This leaves the reader trying to guess who it is talking about. Since the reader may have already read in the NIV that the Morning Star is Jesus, they may continue to falsely assume this is who it is talking about. Also, the individual that is discussed here is called the Son of Dawn. The King James Bible correctly calls Lucifer the Son of the Morning. There is a difference between dawn and morning. Dawn is the starting point of morning, but it is not the whole morning. Those who read the King James Bible realize that this is a gross misuse of Jesus’ name, Morning Star. The Devil would like to take the name of Jesus, but Christians must cast aside this perverted translation. Giving Lucifer Jesus’ name is an insult to Jesus.

In Isaiah 14:12-15 of the NASV, there is a slight, rotten twist to the corrupt use of Jesus’ name. The individual being discussed is called, “star of the morning”. This is just another way to say Morning Star. So, we see another perverted version give a name of Jesus to Lucifer. Of course, we notice again that the translators failed to tell us this is Lucifer. Also, Lucifer is incorrectly called the, “Son of the Dawn”. As already stated, this is different than being called, “the Son of the Morning”. Then these deceitful translators slip in a “scholarly” foot note about this false light, Lucifer. They want you to feel ignorant in comparison to them. But, the truth is, Satan has blinded these translators.

In Isaiah 14:12-15 of the RSV, the verse is corrupted by saying that Lucifer is the, “Day Star”. Again, we are not told that Lucifer is the person being discussed in the text. Many who read this try to falsely claim that Day Star is a name given to Lucifer. They say that it is a reference to the planet Venus. Venus can be seen very bright in the day sometimes, on a clear day. They claim that Venus symbolizes Lucifer. But, their reasoning is faulty because Venus is not a star at all. It is a planet without its own source of light. Venus is close to the sun allowing the sun to light it up so that it appears to be a star.
God would never have led anyone to write Scriptures saying that Lucifer is the Day Star. Those translators who said that Lucifer is the Day Star are misguided by Satan. The true Scriptures are inspired and preserved by God. They are not the thoughts of men, but they are the very Words of God. But these corrupt translations of the Bible are based on what people think about the Day Star instead of whom God says the Day Star is.
Some people in the past have called the planet Venus the Day Star. Some of them, no doubt, thought that Venus was a star that appeared during the day. But, as technology for astronomy developed, it was revealed that Venus is a planet that reflected light from our sun. It was proven Venus was not a star that appeared in the day, as falsely assumed by these deceived people. All of the real stars are suns far off in the distance. Planets are not stars.
The purpose of the stars and planets has been perverted by both Satan and his followers. This includes the planet Venus. There is Biblical evidence to show that the stars and planets paint a beautiful picture for us on Earth. Among other things, God’s plan of salvation is painted in the sky for all mankind to see. Of course, Satan has perverted this message with astrology. This is a form of witchcraft, Satan worship. Christians are forbidden by the Bible to practice astrology, Isaiah 47:13, 14. The perverted message of the stars and planets has been written down in perverted Bibles. For example, Satan is called Day Star, sun, when in fact Jesus is the Day Star, represented by the sun. God put the stars and planets exactly where they should be so that they could give us a clear and pure message from God.
Psalms 19:1-5 “To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.”
Everything in the sky is teaching us something about God, Psalms 19:1, 2.
No matter what language a person speaks they can read/hear God’s message in the sky. The old saying is: “A picture is worth a thousand words.” God has certainly painted us a beautiful picture in the sky, Psalms 19:3.
The stars and planets are set in line just like written words in a book for the whole world to read. It is the biggest library available for all people of the world to see. The sun gives us light to read the message in the sky, Psalms 19:4.
The sun is like a bridegroom. As stated earlier and in another article, the sun is placed in the sky to represent the Morning Star/Day Star, Jesus. Jesus, the Bridegroom, the Sun of Righteousness, will soon race across the sky to get His bride, the church, Psalms 19:5.
Lucifer is the son of the morning, not the Day Star or the Morning Star. Any being that Jesus created directly is called a son of God. This does not mean that they were spiritually born again. Adam is called a son of God because he was created directly, as opposed to procreation, Luke 3:38. Since angels are a direct creation of God, they are also called sons of God, Job 2:1. Anyone born through procreation must be born again to become a son of God, John 1:12. In Isaiah 14:12 of the King James Bible, the angel Lucifer is called the, “son of the morning”. Lucifer is called a son because he was directly created by Jesus, the Morning Star, Ephesians 3:9. Jesus, the Morning Star, gave light to the angel Lucifer when He created Lucifer. It is very possible that the planet Venus was created to represent Lucifer when he was beautiful, before his rebellion. Just as the sun causes Venus to shine bright in the morning, the Morning Star, Jesus, made Lucifer to shine bright in his beauty. Since Lucifer rebelled, corrupt men have perverted Venus to represent the false goddess of beauty, sexual lust, and drunkenness.
It seems that Satan would rather be called Jupiter. Jupiter was the false Roman god who was believed to rule all other gods. This is what Satan wants to do! You can be sure that Satan encourages people of all times to serve false gods. This is a means to an end for him. Satan intends to get everyone to worship him in due time. According to mythology, the false gods Jupiter and Venus were close companions. Satan was not happy being under the Morning Star, Jesus. He wants to be the Morning Star and the Day Star. Satan would most likely not consider himself to be like the perceived false goddess Venus, but he certainly is prideful about his beauty.
The truth is Satan does not want anyone to be worshiped except him, including false gods. Even though Satan has influenced the translators of the perversions to say that he is the Day Star, this does not make it true. This is a gross misuse of the name given to Jesus. Satan will try to ascend to God’s throne any way that he can. It dishonors Jesus to call Satan the Day Star. The sun is the true day star that represents Jesus the Day Star, not Satan. Just as the planet Venus is a false day star, Satan is a false Daystar!

I will sit on the mountain of the gods, on the slopes of the sacred mountain. 14 I will go up above the tops of the clouds. I will be like God Most High.’ 15 But you were brought down to the grave, to the deep places where the dead are.” (NCV)
In Isaiah 14:12-15 of the NCV, Lucifer’s name is replaced with King of Babylon. It seems certain that Lucifer will rule over Rome, spiritual Babylon, during the prophesied seven-year Tribulation. His cohorts, the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet, will pay spiritual Babylon a lot of attention. It will be a “habitation of devils”. When studying Revelation 17 and 18, it appears to be the place that Satan’s ruling seat will be. But, the reader of these verses in the NCV are left not knowing if this king of Babylon is a mortal king or if it is prophecy about Lucifer. This corrupt translation wrongly calls the King of Babylon the Morning Star. It is restated when it is said that, “you were as bright as the rising sun!” This is a title name that only belongs to Jesus. Satan’s false light will soon be put out when he is bound in darkness for 1,000 years.
PERVERTED BIBLE VERSION: Revelation 22:16 “I, Yeshua, have sent My angel to testify these things to you for My communities. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” (TLV)
In Revelation 22:16 of the TLV, Jesus, Yeshua, is properly called, the Morning Star. This is a Messianic Jewish translation of the New Testament.
PERVERTED BIBLE VERSION: Isaiah 14:12-15 “How you have fallen from heaven, O daystar, son of the dawn! How you are cut down to the earth, you who made the nations prostrate! 13You said in your heart: ‘I will ascend to heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit upon the mount of meeting, in the uttermost parts of the north. 14 I will ascend above the high places of the clouds— I will make myself like Elyon.’ 15Yet you will be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest parts of the Pit.” (TLV)
But, in Isaiah 14:12-15 of the TLV, Lucifer is improperly called Day Star. The translation fails to identify the person under discussion as the fallen angel Lucifer. Even though they based the TLV on the Hebrew Masoretic Text, it is filled with gross errors like this. It is not dependable for those who want to know the full truth of God’s Word. The Day Star, Jesus, has provided the King James Bible for English speaking people who want the whole truth uncorrupted by misguided translators.
Even though Satan has backed the publication of many corrupt versions of the Bible, he will lose before it is over. The saddest thing about the corrupt Bibles is that many people are falling for the Devil’s lies.
CORRECT: Revelation 12:7-10 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” (King James Bible)
There will be a war in Heaven. The Dragon, that old Serpent called the Devil and Satan, will lose. Near the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, he will be cast out of Heaven with his evil cohort angels. Satan will no longer be able to accuse true Christians before God. His time will be short on this Earth.
CORRECT: Jude 1:13 “Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.” (King James Bible)
Satan is one of the stars, angels, who will be cast into the blackness of darkness. His false light will no longer shine to deceive people on Earth. Some think that the hottest fire is black fire.
CORRECT: Revelation 20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (King James Bible)
At the end of the thousand years, Satan will fall before the true Morning Star/Day Star, Jesus. He will be cast into the Lake of Fire with his two cohorts the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet. Also, all of the angels who followed Lucifer in the rebellion against God will be cast into the Lake of Fire. It is time to cast aside perverted Bible versions and let the Day Star bring light to your dark heart.
