It appears that China is literally rising to power. China is building islands in the South China Sea. China is making verbal and political attacks against their enemies. It is very likely that China will be one of the kings that come from the east to attack Israel in the Battle of Armageddon.
China is building artificial islands in international waters by dredging in the South China Sea. China claims that these islands are being built for both civilian and military purposes. The United States government is challenging China concerning its right to the manmade islands and the right of China to control the international waters near the islands. China has threatened to meet the United States with force if they interfere with their island project.
“Chinese [have] dredging vessels in the waters around Mischief reef in the South China Sea. The US is expected to sail warships close to the artificial islands in the next two weeks.
Chinese media criticized the US on Thursday for ‘ceaseless provocations’ in the South China Sea, with Washington expected to soon send warships close to artificial islands Beijing has built in disputed waters.
An editorial in the Global Times, which is close to China’s ruling Communist party, condemned US ‘coercion’, adding: ‘China mustn’t tolerate rampant US violations of China’s adjacent waters and the skies over those expanding islands.’
It said China’s military should ‘be ready to launch countermeasures according to Washington’s level of provocation’.
Tensions have mounted since China transformed reefs in the area – also claimed by several neighboring countries – into small islands capable of supporting military facilities, a move the US says threatens freedom of navigation.” (1)
Satellite images of the islands show runways that could be used for air force jets. Some of the surrounding nations have challenged China about restricting travel in international waters near the manmade islands.
“Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam – members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) – claim parts of the sea. Taiwan is a sixth claimant.
China has invited Asean defense ministers for a two-day informal summit in Beijing starting on Thursday, according to the country’s defense ministry.” (2)
It appears that China intends on making a strong collation against outsiders like the United States and Israel. China is already hugging up to Russia, the bear. Other kings of the east, such as Iran and North Korea, have been threatening the power of the United States. They have threatened the United States verbally, and by displaying their war powers in weapons parades and war maneuvers. Also, these countries are continuing to make advances in weapons of war that could be used to challenge Israel and the United States. It may be that these kings of the east are presently forming strong collations so that they will be prepared to attack Israel and their allies in the future. We do not know how soon this will happen. But, we do know that in the second half of the coming prophesied seven-year Tribulation the kings of the East will march against Israel with deadly intent. Russia will lead this evil collation against Israel, according to prophecy.
Since we are told in prophecy that every nation will attack Israel in the Battle of Armageddon, we know that either the United States will no longer exist, or they will join in the attack. Sadly, the government of the United States is turning their backs on our ally and friend, Israel. It is very likely that we will still be in existence and join in the attack against Israel. We need to pray for Israel, and we need to pray that the United States government backs Israel 100%.
As sure as everything else in the Bible continues to come true, the Battle of Armageddon will happen in the future, in fulfillment of prophecy.
Revelation 16:12-16 “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”
The Battle of Armageddon will be a victory for true Christians. We will come back with Jesus in His Second Coming, as seen in Revelation 19 and Zechariah 14. In the Battle of Armageddon, all the nations of the world, including the kings of the east, will be gathered to fight against the Jews of Israel. All of the enemy nations of the Jews will fall in defeat before Jesus, the King of kings. If you want to be on the winning side, repent of your sins and believe on Jesus as your Saviour. Call on Jesus today and ask Him to save your sinful soul before it is too late. Every person is a Hell bound sinner without Jesus. Your good works will not help you escape the torments of Hell. After death, there will not be a second chance to join the winning side with King Jesus. For the true Christian, we are living in exciting times! But, no doubt, all of the threats in the world are frightening to unsaved people. Come to Jesus and He will give you peace in this troubled world.
