Netanyahu’s Safety Net For Israel! Early elections in Israel could rescue Israel from impending danger. In an effort to protect the Jews of Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for an early election. This early election is scheduled to take place on March 17, 2015. Some of the members of his cabinet and other political enemies have continually tried to put up blockades to prevent Prime Minister Netanyahu from making a stronger safety net for the Jewish citizens of Israel.
Netanyahu’s safety net has benefited the citizens of Israel for many years. Both the economy and the precious lives of citizens of Israel are being protected by Netanyahu’s safety net. His policies of expanding into foreign markets have strengthened the economy of Israel. When Arab terrorists have attacked Israel, Netanyahu wisely used defensive and offensive methods to protect each and every citizen of Israel, including Arab citizens. Suicidal, Arab terrorists have been caught before carrying out their unholy terrorists acts. Hamas terrorists tunneling like rattlesnakes have been captured or killed before they could inflict harm on the innocent citizens of Israel. Deadly rockets have been knocked from the sky before they could bring death to the children of Israel. Netanyahu helped develop the net that has resisted the enemies of the Jews! Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is my hero and he should be the hero of every citizen of Israel.
Netanyahu and his family have faithfully served Israel. His grandfather was a leading Zionist rabbi. Netanyahu’s grandfather worked with the Jewish National Fund that is used to buy and develop land for Jewish settlements. If it wasn’t for people like Netanyahu’s grandfather, many Jews would not have a home in Israel.
After high school, Netanyahu enlisted in the Israel Defense Force, IDF. He became a team leader in an elite special forces unit of the IDF. He has served Israel with great dedication and determination. He took part in the War of Attrition, Operation Inferno, and in the rescue of the hijacked Sabena Flight 571. He was shot in the shoulder during the rescue at the hijacked plane.
Netanyahu suffered loss when his brother, Commander Yonatan was murdered by Arab terrorists while rescuing 100 Israeli hostages in Operation Entebbe.
Netanyahu has had extensive training and experience in the operation of the government of Israel. He was first elected as Prime Minister by a direct poplar vote of the people. He has served Israel with distinction for three terms. Netanyahu understands that sacrifice and strength is needed to achieve true peace for Israel. Netanyahu showed his love and compassion for his people in 2011 when he traded 1,000 Hamas prisoners for a captured IDF soldier, Gilad Shalit. On December 1st 2014, the Prime Minister and his wife smiled with pride when their son Avner enlisted in the Israeli Defense Forces. Netanyahu believes that it is worth personal risk on his part to protect the citizens of Israel.
Netanyahu wants peace just as much as any Jewish citizen of Israel. But, he understands that you do not let devouring lions in with the sheep. Many of the Arabs have proven themselves to be like lions who want to devour the Jewish citizens of Israel. Netanyahu states clearly that any Arabs who occupy land in Israel need to be demilitarized. They must be toothless and clawless in regard to weapons that can be used against Jews. The Palestinian Arabs will never accept demilitarization in good faith. They may accept an open door, from gullible politicians, so that they can send a trogon horse of false peace into Israel with the intention of destroying every Jew.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is endorsing a Jewish Nationhood bill that will formalize Israel as a Jewish nation. It is a step toward a written constitution. Netanyahu said, “The bill I will present will be based on Israel being a Jewish and democratic state. Israel guarantees equality of personal rights to all its citizens without discrimination based on religion, race, and gender.” (1) He makes it clear that it is not his intention to harm innocent and good Arab citizens. But he is against giving a national shield of protection to those Arabs who are a danger to the Jews of Israel. Netanyahu said, “Those who praise murderers – calling them martyrs – and incite or commit acts of terror – will not receive national insurance,” (2) Netanyahu said, “I oppose a bi-national state. Israel is the national state of the Jewish people and the Jewish people alone.” (3) It does not make Netanyahu wrong just because many nations and politicians oppose his views on a two-state solution.
Some liberal politicians in Israel claim that certain policies of Netanyahu will put Israel’s democracy in danger. But, the truth is that if these policies are not put in place, Israel is in danger of becoming a dictatorship ruled by Arab terrorists. Many of these same liberals fear that Israel will be influenced by religious decisions. This is ridiculous when you realize that most countries dominated by Arabs are influenced by the Muslim religion. Their government policies are influenced by Sharia Laws based on the Quran. Even the United States is influenced by a religious foundation based on the Bible. Israel was founded by God based on the Scriptures, Torah and the Prophets. A country that does not have the proper religious influence is headed down the road of destruction.
Netanyahu has many enemies who oppose his endorsement of a Jewish Nationhood bill. Even some of his cabinet members have put roadblocks in Netanyahu’s way to prevent Israel from being recognized as a Jewish nation. These cabinet members have failed in their obligation to protect the Jewish citizens of Israel. Many of Israel’s government officials are willing to strike a peace deal with the Arab occupiers at any cost. They would give away part of Jerusalem and allow Arab terrorists a legal right to live next door to them. But, this would put all Jews of Israel in danger. The false offer of peace from the Arabs would break out into war as it has many times before. But, it would be too late after the politicians compromise the Jews of Israel by giving them a legal foothold in the land of Israel. Constant conflict with the politicians in the present Israel government made it necessary for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to call for early elections. His hope is that new government officials will be put into position who have a heart to protect the Jews of Israel from foolish political, peace policies.
Has Netanyahu become misguided in his goal to protect the Jews of Israel? Absolutely not! God gave the promise of the land of Israel to Abraham, as seen in Genesis 15 and other places.
Genesis 15:17-18 “And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. 18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:”
The land promised to Abraham was also promised to Isaac and his descendants, not Ishmael. The land of Israel was promised by God to the Jews, Isaac’s descendants. The Arabs are Ishmael’s descendants. God promised to make them a nation also but not on the covenant Promised Land of Israel.
Genesis 17:19-21 “And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.”
The promise of the land was transferred to Jacob, who God later named Israel. Israel is the father of the twelve tribes of Jews, not Arabs. God promised them to be one nation at peace. The following portion of Ezekiel is prophecy that has not been fulfilled yet. Israel may not be recognized as a nation by the present nations of the world, but in the future when the Messiah rules, Israel will be a Jewish nation blessed with true peace.
Ezekiel 37:21- 22, 25, 26 “And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: 25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. 26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.”
Just as sure as the sun, moon, and stars are in the heavens, Israel is promised to always be a nation in the mind and plan of God. God knows that there will always be a Jewish remnant serving Him. This is why He can make this promise to the Jews. The Arabs and other nations of the world would like to split the land of Israel up, but God gives the Jews assurance that a two-state solution is not His plan for them to achieve peace. Just because Arabs were born in Israel or live there, it does not make them owners of the land. God guaranteed the land to Abraham through his seed Isaac. God owed it, and He gave the title deed to the Jews, according to the Scriptures.
Jeremiah 31:35-36 “Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.”
Some deceivers take Numbers 15:15 out of context to claim that Arabs, (strangers) have just as much right to the Promised Land as Jews do. There is not one prophecy in the Scriptures that promises Arabs the land that God promised to the Jews. It is important to read the whole text about the condition for strangers living on the land promised to the Jews. When reading Numbers 15:14, it is apparent that the strangers must be worshiping the LORD of the Scriptures. A majority of the Arabs do not worship the God of the Scriptures. They worship the god of the Quran. Therefore, they are disqualified to have any right to the land. Israel is a Jewish nation, not an Arab nation. It is a privilege for a non Jew to live on the land of Israel. It is not a guaranteed right.
Numbers 15:14-15 “And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do you in your generations, and will. 15 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.”
It is clear that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is headed down the right political path in support of a strong and safe Jewish nation. Those politicians who support a false peace with an ill conceived two-state solution will bring great harm to the Jews of the nation of Israel.
By understanding how their government system works, each citizen of Israel can help determine the political decisions of their government. It is especially important that they know how the Prime Minister is selected. For a short time, the Prime Minister was voted on directly by the citizens of Israel. As stated earlier, this is how Netanyahu was elected for his first term. But, now voters have an indirect decision on who is selected as the Prime Minister. Below, I will give a brief description of how government officials, including the Prime Minister, are put in place. This will guide each voter in understanding how they can help determine who will lead Israel.
The government system of Israel consists of a Parliamentary democracy. The three parts in the parliament are: Executive branch, Legislative branch, and the Judicial branch. The citizens of Israel vote on a group of politicians called the Knesset. The Knesset is the group of politicians who make the laws in the Legislative branch. There are many different political parties in the Knesset. The party that gets the most votes by the citizens of Israel has control over who will be the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is normally selected from the political party with the most votes.
The Prime Minister, who is the head of the Executive branch, makes sure the laws are executed. The Prime Minister is the most powerful government official in Israel. He is in charge of the safety and defense of Israel, among other things. He chooses a cabinet from the Knesset to head various departments that govern Israel. If there are not enough members in the Knesset from his own political party, he may be forced to choose someone from a different party. This can lead to disagreement on major issues. That is exactly what happened with Netanyahu recently. He had members of the Knesset in his cabinet from another party and some of them decided to oppose him on the Jewish Nationhood bill. Since a Prime Minister can call for an early election of the Knesset, Netanyahu chose to do that. He hopes that the citizens will vote for political parties that favor his policies to defend the Jews of Israel. Since the citizens only vote for the political party and not each politician in the party, it is important that Netanyahu has extra members to select a cabinet from in his own party. Sometimes even those politicians in the same party will oppose the Prime Minister on certain issues.
The citizens of Israel can use various methods to cry aloud for the support of Netanyahu and his policies of protection.
One of the most important things for voting citizens to do is vote for the party that Netanyahu heads. This is the Likud party. More votes for the Likud party gets more seats in the 120 member Knesset. More Likud party Knesset members will give Netanyahu better choices for his cabinet, department heads.
A petition can be written up in favor of Netanyahu’s policies, such as the Jewish Nationhood bill. After a great number of voters sign it, a copy of the signed petition can be sent to Netanyahu, his cabinet members and the heads of the various political parties in the Knesset. Also, individual voters can write the various department heads to encourage them to support the policies of Netanyahu.
Government approved rallies can be held to support Netanyahu and his policies of protection for the Jews of Israel. Signs supporting Netanyahu can be displayed, where they are allowed. News articles can be written to promote Netanyahu and television ads run. But, most importantly everyone needs to be encouraged to vote for the Likud party. If the Jewish voting citizens of Israel do not support Netanyahu, the liberals will give their land away for a false peace! Netanyahu called an early election to protect Israel’s citizens from impending danger. But, if the liberals have their way, the feared danger to the Jews of Israel will become a reality.
