Rejecting a two-state solution that includes Islam terrorists is a wise decision made by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu! It appears that in the past Netanyahu leaned more towards a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians.
Netanyahu addressed the United States Congress in May 2011 about a two-state solution. At that time, he appeared to strongly favor a two-state solution. He made the following statement: “In any peace agreement that ends the conflict, some settlements will end up beyond Israel’s borders.’ To prevent any misunderstandings, the prime minister promised, ‘We will be very generous on the size of a future Palestinian state … I am willing to make painful compromises to achieve this historic peace.’” (1) Like most citizens of Israel, Netanyahu wants peace. But, Netanyahu does not want to compromise the safety of the citizens of Israel for a peace agreement that is worth nothing. Israel has been forced to defend herself against terrorists and rockets for many years. If giving up some of the land could bring peace, Netanyahu may have been willing to give up some of the land.
Netanyahu realizes that a bi-national state that includes the Arab Muslim Palestinians and the Jewish citizens of Israel would potentially bring great harm, especially to the Jewish citizens. Arab terrorists and Jewish people living under the same government would be like allowing rattlesnakes to live in your house. Just as a rattlesnake slithering around could bring death, those Arab Muslims, with a terrorist heart, would strike out at their Jewish neighbors.
But, after observing the constant attacks from the Muslim Arab Palestinians outside of Israel, Netanyahu decided it was time to declare that giving Islamic Palestinian terrorists a legal state next door to Israel is foolish. They would continue to terrorize Israel and they would have a legal right to live next to Israel. As it is, the Arab terrorists have tunneled into Israel murdering innocent Jews and Arabs. The Arab terrorists constantly send in suicide bombers to blow up Jews, even those who help them. Citizens of Israel have to be on constant watch for rockets striking them from where the Palestinians presently occupy.
It was not an easy decision for Netanyahu to make a statement against a two-state solution. By doing this, many of Israel’s citizens and allies will potentially be upset. But, Netanyahu wisely understands that the two- state solution would be a disaster to the Jews of Israel. Just as long as there are Muslim terrorists who want to destroy Israel, a two-state solution would fail. Not only would it fail, it would bring an opportunity for Muslim terrorists to annihilate all the Jews of Israel.
Netanyahu stated clearly that he is against a two-state solution, because of the terrorists. He said, “Even if the Palestinians agree to all our demands in return for our withdrawal, the danger will remain of a radical Islamic takeover.” (2) On February 5, 2015, Netanyahu said at an election rally, “What will happen to each piece of land from which we withdraw?’ He responded, ‘It would be taken over by radical Islam,’ an answer that he has been repeating in almost all his recent public appearances.” (3)
Palestinian President Abbas has never been willing to tell the Palestinian people that he would accept a Jewish state next door to them. Neither did he tell them that they should accept a Jewish state. This is because they are not willing to recognize a Jewish state. They just want to get a legal right to Israel’s land so that they can take even more, as time passes. The truth is, many of the Muslim Palestinians would like to push the Jews into the sea and drown them. Many of the Muslims have expressed their hate for the Jews and their desire to wipe them off the face of the earth. Netanyahu also said that he was, “not willing to try and cure a headache with a guillotine. I am not willing to commit suicide.” (4) Terrorist, like ISIS, would march into a Palestinian state if it was next to Israel. It appears that their favorite thing to do is behead innocent people. Past experience with Palestinians as neighbors has shown that a two- state solution would lead to the death of many more Jewish people in Israel. The slaughter of Jews would very likely increase.
Some might think that Netanyahu is just saying that he is against a two-state solution because of the coming election in Israel. But, that does not appear to be the case at all. Netanyahu has always tried to make the right choices to safeguard Israel, and he has constantly sought peace with Israel’s Arab neighbors, who only respond with war. Netanyahu has made many sacrifices to protect the people of Israel because he loves each person. Netanyahu has asked Benny Begin to join his political party, Likud. Begin is totally against a two-state solution. Begin once said in 2012, “understanding that there’s no such reality as two states”. (5) If Netanyahu was just speaking out against a two-state solution as a political maneuver, he would not be joining up with those who oppose a two-state solution.
The main competition against Netanyahu’s Likud political party is the Labor party. The Labor party fully supports a two-state solution. In fact, it is in their charter to support a two-state solution.
“The Labor Party’s charter supports partitioning the land based on the 1967 borders and the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002. The PLO, the international representative of the Palestinians, accepts the exact same terms. Seventy-eight percent of the land to Israel and 22% for Palestine…” (6)
Israeli voters in the upcoming election should vote for Netanyahu’s Likud party if they do not want to give their land away and put their lives in danger. But, if they choose to vote for the Labor party, it is very likely that it will result in the loss of much of their land. Besides, it will move Islam terrorists next door to them on a more permanent and legal basis.
The government and the Jewish people of Israel need to realize that God gave the land of Israel to them, and they do not have a right to give it away to the Palestinians. Also, no other nation has a right to force Israel to give up land to Palestinians who are trying to make a false claim on it. God will bless the government in Israel and her people if they determine to keep all the land that God gave them.
The land that God gave Israel is small compared to the rest of the world. The Palestinians need to quit occupying Israel’s land and demanding ownership of it. They need to move to the land that God promised to them, through Ishmael. The Promised Land was handed down from Abraham to Isaac and his seed, not Ishmael’s seed.
Genesis 28:13 “And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;”
The promise of the land to Israel is an everlasting promise. The warranty deed that God gave to Abraham can be traced all through the Bible. Only the seed of Abraham was to inherit the Promised Land, through Isaac. When the Messiah, Jesus, comes back to rule, the remnant of Jews, who trust in Jesus as Saviour, will finally possess all of the Promised Land, forever. Finally, they will have true peace, as opposed to a false peace through a two-state solution. Jews of Israel, hold onto your land and do not let anyone talk you into a two-state solution! Jesus is coming soon with a one nation solution for the Jewish people of the world.
Joshua 1:1-6 “Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, 2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.”

Daniel 2:20-21 “Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:”
