Israel Is The Apple Of God's Eye

Even though many people oppose the Jews, they are still the apple of God’s eye. The United States is headed for trouble if we elect a president and other government officials who oppose the Jews. We must stand strong in support of establishing Israel as a nation. All of the land promised to the Jews in Israel will be possessed by a remnant of Jews in the future.

Zechariah 2:7-12 “Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. 8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. 9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me. 10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. 11 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.  12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.”

The Jews and the nation of Israel have often rebelled against God. As a result of the rebellion of the Jews , God has allowed their enemies to take them captive. The Jews could not set themselves free from their captors, Zechariah 2:7.

When King Jesus returns in the Second Coming near the end of the prophesied seven-year Tribulation, He will punish those nations who spoil the Jews by taking their land, possessions and those who enslave Jewish people. The Jews are the apple of God’s eye. The Jews are at the center of God’s attention. Even though the Jews have disobeyed God very often, they are still more obedient to God than the Gentiles, Zechariah 2:8.

Jesus will shake His hand of wrath against the enemies of Israel. The enemies of the Jews will fall in defeat before Jesus. The possessions of the enemies of Israel will be put into the hands of the Jews. In the past, the Jews have been forced to be the servants of their enemies, but in the future, the enemies of the Jews will be servants to the Jews. Both the Jews and their enemies will understand the LORD of hosts, God the Father, sent Jesus to judge the enemies of the Jews, Zechariah 2:9.

In the past, and in the present, Jews often sing a sad song because their enemies are attacking them in some form. But, in the future, they will be able to sing a happy song because Jesus will lead them to victory over their enemies. Jesus will rule in Israel as the King of the Jews and of the World, Zechariah 2:10.

When Jesus returns to the Earth, many nations will surrender to Him. Individuals in these nations will repent and believe on Jesus as their Saviour. They will realize how wrong they have been by opposing the Jews. To oppose the Jews is to oppose God. These repentant people will get to enjoy the blessings of God during the reign of Jesus on Earth. Jesus will live in the middle of His chosen people, the Jews. The Jews will finally understand that Jesus is the Messiah sent by God the Father, Zechariah 2:11.

A remnant of Jews from both Judah and Jerusalem will possess the Promised Land. Some believe that the Jews have been cast aside forever. But this is a false teaching. God has a plan to bring them back to Him once again in the future. A Jewish remnant will be saved from all of the twelve tribes of Israel. God knows who this Jewish remnant will be, Zechariah 2:12.

Romans 11:26-28 “And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.”

Governments may oppose the Jews, but Jesus will deliver the Jews out of the hands of these evil people when He returns in the Second Coming. People need to quit messing with the apple of God’s eye, the Jews. When Jesus returns, every Jew who is alive at His return will repent and believe on Jesus as their Saviour. All of Israel will be saved at that time. Of course, those Jews who died without accepting Jesus as their Saviour will not be saved. Jesus is the Deliverer who will come out of Sion, (Zion), Israel. When the Jews see Jesus, they will turn to Jesus away from ungodliness. Jacob represents the nation of Israel. His children were the founding fathers of the twelve tribes of Israel, Romans 11:26.

Jesus will make a covenant with the Jews that are here when He returns. He will take away their sins. Many Jews try in vain to remove their sins by various customs and works of righteousness. But, this is all vain. We cannot remove even one of our sins. Jesus paid the full penalty for all of our sins on the cross. Only Jesus can take away our sins. This happens when we repent of our sins and believe on Jesus as our Saviour, Romans 11:27.

The gospel is that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and that He rose again. In the past, the Jews have become the enemies of God. As a result of their rebellion against God, God has allowed many Gentiles to be saved. But there is still a Jewish elect. God loves the Jews, and many of them will be saved in the future, Romans 11:28.

We encourage everyone to stand up for the apple of God’s eye, the Jews. Make the right choice and vote for someone who will defend God’s chosen people, the Jews. The Jews are the apple of God’s eye.
