President Trump recently had peace meetings with Muslim and Jewish leaders in hopes of bringing religious peace in Israel. But, a true Muslim, who believes and follows the Quran, can never have peace with those who do not believe like they do. The Quran teaches violence against those who do not believe and follow the Quran.

“Kill them [unbelievers] wherever you find them… And fight them until there is no more unbelief and worship is for Allah alone” (Quran 2:191-193).

“Strike off their heads and strike from them every fingertip” (Quran 8:12).

“Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties; in exchange for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they slay and are slain” (Quran 9:111).

“Truly Allah loves those who fight in His cause in battle array…” (Quran 61:4)

“The Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah” (Sahih Muslim 1:33).

These verses from the Quran and many others make it clear that a faithful Muslim cannot have peace with those of another religion, including the Jewish religion. Any peace agreement that the Muslims make would only be temporary, and it would be a false peace.

The Anti-Christ will make a temporary, false peace agreement in the Middle East at the beginning of the seven-year Tribulation.

Daniel 8:25 “And through his [Anti-Christ’s] policy [laws] also he [Anti-Christ] shall cause craft [jobs and material wealth] to prosper in his [Anti-Christ’s] hand; and he [Anti-Christ] shall magnify himself [Anti-Christ] in his [Anti-Christ’s] heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he [Anti-Christ] shall also stand up against the Prince of princes [Jesus]; but he [Anti-Christ] shall be broken without hand.”

The peace agreement made by the Anti-Christ with Israel and other nations will fail after three and one-half years. The Jews will reject the claim of the Anti-Christ to be their Messiah. The seven-year peace agreement will be broken when the Anti-Christ defiles the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. The Anti-Christ will turn against the Jews like a rabid dog. President and kings may achieve peace in Israel, but it will only be temporary peace.

Daniel 9:27 “And he [Anti-Christ] shall confirm the covenant [peace agreement] with many [Israel and other nations] for one week [seven years]: and in the midst [after three and one-half years] of the week [seven years] he [Anti-Christ] shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations [Abomination of Desolation] he [Anti-Christ] shall make it [Temple] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

When King Jesus returns to the Mount of Olives in His Second Coming, we know that there will be war in Israel, not peace, Zechariah 14. In the Millennial reign of King Jesus, there will finally be lasting peace in Israel.

Isaiah 2:3-4 “And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD [King Jesus], to the house of the God of Jacob [Israel]; and he [King Jesus] will teach us of his [King Jesus’] ways, and we will walk in his [King Jesus’] paths: for out of Zion [Israel] shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD [King Jesus] from Jerusalem. 4 And he [King Jesus] shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more [lasting world peace, including Israel].”
