Jewish Remnant In Promised Land Forever

God has a Jewish remnant who will live in the Promised Land during the thousand year reign of Christ! It is important to understand that the everlasting promise of the land is not to every descendant of Abraham, according to the flesh. The Jewish remnant will enjoy peace like the peace seen in the picture with the child surrounded by animals that will not harm people or other animals. The Jewish remnant will be protected and always enjoy peace in the Messiah’s Kingdom! Neither men nor beast will do the Jewish remnant any harm.

Isaiah 11:6-9 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. ⁷ And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. ⁸ And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. ⁹ They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”

The church will never replace the Jewish remnant of believers. They will feel blessed to eat the crumbs from the Jewish tables. Some Gentiles may even get the privilege to live in the Jewish Promised Land. But, all Jews according to the flesh, who are believers, will inherit the Promised Land. The Jewish remnant is the true Israel. God will keep His covenant with Abraham concerning the Promised Land, because He knew there would be a Jewish remnant of believers ready to possess the Promised Land in the Messiah’s Kingdom! Many of those at the “Christ at the Checkpoint” conferences seem to think that God is done with Israel, as a nation. But, they are wrong because the Jews will possess the Promised Land in the future, according to the Scriptures.

Micah 7:18-20 “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. ¹⁹ He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. ²⁰ Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.”

Because the precious blood of Jesus has been applied to the sins of the Jewish remnant, God will show them mercy. The remnant of Israel is God’s heritage by birth and by transformation, brought about by the blood of Jesus washing away all their sins. The remnant of believing Jews will inherit the Promised Land forever, Exodus 12:13; 1 Peter 1:18, 19; Micah 7:18. God will have compassion on Israel again. Many of those at the “Christ at the Checkpoint” conferences believe that Israel forfeited God’s promise of the land in Israel. But, God said that He would cast the sins of a Jewish remnant into the depths of the sea. This Jewish remnant will receive the Promised Land because they received forgiveness for all sins through Jesus, Micah 7:19. God’s Word is true. He promised the land to Jacob and Abraham. God’s promises never fail to be fulfilled. Jacob is the father of Israel, according to the flesh. Not only was Jacob a Jew by birth, he believed in the coming Saviour, Jesus. Like many other natural-born Jews, Jacob became a part of the believing Jewish remnant. The believing remnant of Israel will receive the everlasting promise to inherit the Promised Land, Micah 7:20.

Zephaniah 3:13-20 “The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid. ¹⁴ Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. ¹⁵ The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. ¹⁶ In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. ¹⁷ The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. ¹⁸ I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden. ¹⁹ Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. ²⁰ At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.”

The Jews are God’s chosen people. He has refined the nation of Israel down through the centuries. There will be a saved remnant of them in the Messianic Kingdom on the Promised Land. Those Jews who make it through the seven-year Tribulation, prophesied by Daniel, will live in their natural flesh until they die. It appears that even those Jews who still have natural flesh may be nearly perfect in their thoughts and actions. If this happens, it will be accomplished because of the work that Jesus did for them. Their sin nature, inherited from Adam, would have to be subjected to the power of God. I am not stating this as a fact, but it appears this way in some Scriptures. There will be no fear because King Jesus will protect the Jewish remnant from all enemies, Zephaniah 3:13. This Jewish remnant will sing and shout praises to the God of their salvation. They will rejoice forevermore, safe in the arms of Jesus, Zephaniah 3:14. In the past, Israel, as a nation, was constantly punished for rebellion against God. But, during the Messiah’s reign, the children of Israel will not be judged anymore for rebellion. The blood of Jesus was shed to take their judgment for sin. In the past, God had to bring the enemies of Israel against them to judge them and refine them, but in the Messiah’s Kingdom, King Jesus will protect them from their enemies. He will protect them from evil, Zephaniah 3:15. Jerusalem and Zion is not a picture of the church. This is the remnant of Israel who is saved, and they will serve King Jesus, Zephaniah 3:16. God is mighty! He will live among His Jewish subjects in the Promised Land. Jesus will save them from their enemies. Also, those who still have their natural bodies will be saved from Hell by receiving spiritual regeneration. Jesus will be pleased with the work that He has accomplished with His chosen people, the Jews. Jesus will rest from His labors on behalf of the Jews. King Jesus will sing with joy over the saved Jewish remnant, Zephaniah 3:17. The remnant will be gathered into the Messiah’s Kingdom. They will be comforted from the troubles of the past. All burdens will finally be lifted from the remnant of Israel, Zephaniah 3:18. There will be no more afflictions on Israel. In the past, Israel often halted like a mule, and God had to scatter them all over the world. But, in the Kingdom of God, Israel will be saved. The Gentile nations will praise Israel for their love and obedience to God. They will be famous, like the stars of God! Past shames, caused by rebellion, will be removed, Zephaniah 3:19. Israel has failed, as a nation, in the past, but in the future, God will bring the remnant to the nation of Israel. Their name will not be Palestine. Their name will be a name to be praised, Israel. They will never again be captives in other nations because of rebellion. They will possess the Promised Land, Zephaniah 3:20.

Zechariah 8:1-8, 12-23 “Again the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying, ² Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury. ³ Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain. ⁴ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age. ⁵ And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof. ⁶ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts. ⁷ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; ⁸ And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness. ¹² For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. ¹³ And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong. ¹⁴ For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not: ¹⁵ So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not. ¹⁶ These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: ¹⁷ And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD. ¹⁸ And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying, ¹⁹ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace. ²⁰ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: ²¹ And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. ²² Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. ²³ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.”

It hurt God when Israel rebelled and fell into spiritual adultery. He punished them for their constant rebellion, Zechariah 8:1, 2. Even though Israel was put aside for awhile, God promised to bring them back to the Promised Land, and King Jesus will be in the midst of them. Truth will be in Jerusalem because Jesus is truth, John 14:6. Holiness will be reflected from the mountain tops by the Jewish remnant, Zechariah 8:3. The Jewish remnant who still have flesh and blood bodies will live to be an old age in Jerusalem, Zechariah 8:4. Children will be born to the Jewish flesh and blood remnant in the Messiah’s Kingdom, and they will play in safety without worrying about a suicidal bomber killing them. Those who have glorified bodies will not reproduce, Zechariah 8:5. The Kingdom of God will be marvelous to the Jewish remnant, and to God, Zechariah 8:6. God will bring His remnant from all nations to the Promised Land, and they will be His people. King Jesus will rule over them in truth and righteousness, Zechariah 8:7, 8. The Promised Land will be like Paradise! The land of Israel will produce all types of delicious food. Israel will finally possess the Promised Land, in fulfillment of God’s promise to Abraham, Zechariah 8:12. Israel had the curse of God on them in the past because of disobedience, but in the future, they will be a blessing to the world because of their obedience. God will save the remnant from the penalty of sins, Zechariah 8:13. God punished Israel, as a nation, for disobedience, but in the Messiah’s Kingdom, He will reward the nation for their faithful obedience, Zechariah 8:14, 15. Until the physical Kingdom comes, God commands the Jews to be faithful to Him, Zechariah 8:16-19. Gentiles from all over the world will be excited about coming to the Promised Land to worship Jesus, Zechariah 8:20-22. The Gentiles will desire to be around the Jews because God will be blessing them so much! The church of believers is wonderful, but the Jewish remnant of believers will be very special, Zechariah 8:23.

The trail of blood goes throughout the Scriptures leading Jews to Jesus, who made the final sacrifice with His blood on the cross! A Jewish remnant continues to follow that trail of blood to Jesus for eternal salvation. This blood-washed, Jewish remnant will make up the nation of Israel in the Messiah’s Kingdom. This Jewish remnant will play a major role in God’s solution for the Israeli and Palestinian conflict!
