It is claimed that DNA from a single hair or small blood sample can be used by law enforcement to reveal the face of a criminal. A company called Parabon Nanolabs says that a person’s physical appearance can be predicted by analyzing their DNA. Since this procedure is claimed to have at least an 80% accuracy, it could help determine who the criminal is that committed a particular crime.
God told Daniel that knowledge would increase in the end times. Knowledge is increasing by leaps and bounds in our days. Methods such as DNA facial recognition appear to be a sign that we are in the end times. It is very possible that many of us will be present here on earth just before the seven-year Tribulation, prophesied by Daniel, begins. Of course, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus now, He will translate you to Heaven just before the seven years of trouble on earth begins. God will use these seven years to gather together a Jewish remnant, among other things. Many Jews will accept Jesus as their personal Saviour during this final week (7 years) of Daniel’s prophesied 70 weeks (490 years).
Daniel 12:4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
When an innocent person is harmed by a criminal, they certainly should be caught and punished. Our compassion goes out to the families who have lost loved ones by the acts of violent criminals.
I noticed that the Department of Defense funded the DNA facial recognition project. This facial recognition by DNA could be used for good. It is always good to see a criminal captured and punished. Potentially, terrorists can be identified and captured by using this DNA method. I can see the potential for other good applications of this DNA appearance recognition method! Of course, if immoral methods were used to develop this DNA method, it is not acceptable to a God-fearing person. Often, unborn children are experimented on to accomplish the evil goals of some scientists. But, DNA facial recognition is not a new science.
King David understood that God, who created DNA, has a DNA blueprint book that is 100% accurate for facial recognition. There is no guessing on God’s part. He knows the appearance of every person at whatever age they may be. In fact, God knew what every person would look like even before their DNA existed. David wrote about this around 1048 B. C. Men, who think that they are like gods, are just now beginning to understand some of these things that God has always known. Men really can not take credit for facial recognition by DNA. God already has the eternal DNA patent book. It holds the blueprint for every person that will ever exist.
Psalms 139:13, 16 “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”
DNA facial recognition could also be used to do harm to the innocent. As noted, in the related article below, modern “scientific” DNA facial recognition is not 100% accurate. Therefore, it would be possible for an innocent person to be convicted, due to an inaccurate conclusion.
DNA facial recognition could be used for evil purposes! Sometimes, the ones in charge of catching criminals misuse scientific methods to plant false evidence. For example: In the past, some crooked police in California planted the finger prints of innocent people at the scene of a crime. This helped these crooked police get promotions because they appeared to solve crimes quickly. This DNA facial recognition could be misused the same way.
It is also very possible that the Antichrist, during the seven-year Tribulation period, will use some kind of DNA method. This Beast could have his evil cohorts use some type of DNA method to track down those Jews and gentiles who refuse to take the Mark of the Beast. Those who accept the Mark of the Beast will have a mark in their right hand or in their forehead. This Hellish mark will identify the followers of Satan. Without the Mark of the Beast, they will not be able to buy or sell. There will be starvation worldwide. But, God will provide food for many of the Jews who choose to receive Jesus as their Saviour during the seven-year Tribulation.
Revelation 13:16-17 “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
God will sit on a Great White Throne to judge those who have rejected Jesus as Saviour. Those who reject Jesus will try to flee from the face of God. But, there will be no escape. There will be no mistake about who are the Christ-rejecters. God will recognize them because He is God. God does not require their DNA for identification. But, if He wanted to identify them by Their DNA, it would be 100% accurate. It would be very wise to increase your knowledge of the Bible and accept Jesus as your personal Saviour. This is the only thing that will prevent a person from standing before the Great White Throne Judgment. Dear Jewish friend: If you reject the salvation that God has provided through Jesus, there will be no escape from the Great White Throne Judgment of God! You will meet God face-to-face.
Revelation 20:11 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”
Every person’s DNA blueprint is already written in God’s blueprint book. Make sure your name is written in the Lamb’s (Jesus’) Book of Life!
Revelation 21:27 “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s (Jesus’) book of life.”

“DNA Recognition! New DNA technique may reveal face of killer in unsolved double-murder
By Cristina Corbin Published January 19, 2015 FoxNews.com
There were no witnesses to the gruesome murder of a South Carolina mother and her 3-year-old daughter inside a busy apartment complex four years ago. But a new technology that can create an image of someone using DNA samples left at crime scenes might bring police closer to catching the killer.
Reston, Va.-based Parabon Nanolabs, with funding from the Department of Defense, has debuted a breakthrough type of analysis called DNA phenotyping which the company says can predict a person’s physical appearance from the tiniest DNA samples, like a speck of blood or strand of hair.
The DNA phenotyping service, commercially known as ‘Snapshot,’ could put a face on millions of unsolved cases, including international ones, and generate investigative leads when the trail has gone cold.
‘This is particularly useful when there are no witnesses, no hits in the DNA database and nothing to go on,’ Dr. Ellen McRae Greytak, Parabon’s director of bioinformatics, told FoxNews.com.
‘Traditional forensic analysis treats DNA as a fingerprint, whereas Snapshot treats it as a blueprint — a genetic description of a person from which physical appearance can be inferred,’ Greytak said.
Parabon’s new technology reads the parts of the human genome that code for the differences in physical appearance between people. Snapshot is able to predict such critical traits as skin color, hair color, eye color and face shape. It can also predict the individual’s ancestry as well as highly-detailed traits, like freckles.
Using sophisticated computer algorithms that have been trained on thousands of reference samples, Snapshot translates this raw genetic code into predictions of physical traits. These are then combined to create a composite profile, or ‘digital mugshot’ of an unknown suspect — with remarkable accuracy, according to the company.
‘Traits are generally predicted with more than 80 percent confidence, and importantly, Snapshot also reports which phenotypes can be excluded with more than 95 percent confidence,’ said Greytak.
While developing the technology, the company ‘made thousands of predictions on people who we knew” to ensure accuracy, she said.’” (1)
