True Archeology Confirms Bible

Scientists in the field of archeology continue to uncover evidence that confirms Jewish history written in the Bible. Archeology is the study of history by excavating sites to find items and physical evidence from the past. When things from the past are uncovered, they must be analyzed to discover history. Since God exists outside of time, He can write future history in the form of Bible prophecy.

Bible history in the King James Bible is 100% accurate. Caution must be taken when studying secular history online or in books. Corrupt historians often pervert written history. Sometimes important things are left out of written history. At other times, history is completely rewritten to promote some evil lie or to hide some evil deed. For example: some history is rewritten that denies that the Jewish Holocaust ever happened.

History shows that the Jews lived in Israel in the distant past. At times, other people inhabited Israel while God punished the Jews for disobedience. Even though the Arab Muslims occupy parts of the land of Israel in the present, they are not entitled to future occupation or ownership of the land of Israel. But, the Promised Land of Israel is guaranteed to the Jewish, saved remnant in the future. The Temple area in Jerusalem is bursting with evidence of past Jewish history.

Archeology confirms a historical Jewish presence in Israel. Many amazing discoveries have been uncovered to tell the exciting history of the Jews in Israel.

Hezekiah’s Tunnel Discovered

2 Chronicles 32:1-4 “After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself. And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem, He took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the waters of the fountains which were without the city: and they did help him. So there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water?”

King Hezekiah of Judah rerouted the natural water fountains and brooks outside of the city. This was so that the water would be kept from the attacking Assyrian army and protected for the Jews in Jerusalem.

Bible history tells about this mighty project accomplished by the Jewish people. Just before the Assyrian invasion of Judah in 701 BC, a tunnel was dug through solid rock to redirect the water. The tunnel is approximately 1,748.69 feet long. The tunnel called Hezekiah’s tunnel was discovered by different explorers including a British explorer in 1867. This engineered, tunnel masterpiece leads from the Gihon Spring to the Pool of Siloam.

Archeology investigation has confirmed the Biblical, historical account of the redirected water. An inscription was found that points to the fact that Hezekiah had the tunnel built to redirect the water.

Jewish Temple

Evidence continues to be uncovered by Archeologist confirming the fact that the Jews historically possessed and controlled the Temple area in Jerusalem. There is no evidence to show that the Arabs possessed the Temple areas way back in the past. Many bullas have been discovered in Archeology finds linking the Jews to the Temple in Jerusalem and the area around the Temple. A bulla is a clay seal attached to an official document.

Jehucal’s Seal

A clay impression with a first Temple Hebrew inscription was discovered having the name of Jehucal, a high-ranking Israelite official. The inscription was as follows: “Jehucal, son of Shelemiah, son of Shovi.” This confirms the historical account in the Bible.

Jeremiah 37:3 “And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.”

Gedaliah’s Seal

Around six and one-half feet away from the Jehucal bulla, another bulla was found bearing the name of another high-ranking Jewish official. This seal impression belonged to Gedaliah. The inscription was as follows: “Gedaliah, son of Pashur.” His name is also found in Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 38:1 “Then Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashur the son of Malchiah, heard the words that Jeremiah had spoken unto all the people, saying,”

King Hezekiah’s Seal

One of the greatest bulla discoveries was a seal impression of King Hezekiah of Judah. It was found in what is known as the Ophel excavations. The Hezekiah bulla was discovered right at the foot of the southern wall of the Temple Mount. Once again, archeology confirmed the historical account of King Hezekiah. He is a real person, as described in the Bible.

Isaiah The Prophet’s Seal

Recently, an impressive bulla was discovered only ten feet away from where the Hezekiah bulla was uncovered. It appears to be the bulla of Isaiah, the prophet. There is some room for doubt about it being Isaiah’s bulla because part of the bulla is missing. The name Isaiah is clear, but the word that could be prophet is missing part of the word.

Since Isaiah and Hezekiah had a close spiritual relationship, it points to the fact that the bulla is very likely that of Isaiah, the prophet. Isaiah was a close adviser to King Hezekiah.

Like Isaiah was a great prophet for God, Hezekiah was a great King who honored God. It was Hezekiah who restored the first Temple in Jerusalem, 2 Kings 18:1-3; 2 Chronicles 29.

Isaiah, the prophet, sent a message to King Hezekiah telling how God would protect his kingdom from the attack of King Sennacherib of Assyria, 2 Kings 19:20-37. It is possible that the bulla uncovered near the Temple was the one attached to this message sent by Isaiah, the prophet.

Millennial Kingdom History Already Written In Bible

During the Millennial Reign of King Jesus, a saved, Jewish remnant from the twelve tribes of Israel will posses the Promised Land of Israel, including the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. The invading Muslims will be defeated by King Jesus in the Battle of Armageddon, Revelation 16:12-16; Zechariah 14.

Jeremiah 30:3 “For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.”

Zechariah 6:12 “And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH [King Jesus]; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he [King Jesus] shall build the temple of the LORD:”

Ezekiel 37:19-28 “Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them [Saved Jewish Remnant]; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary [Holy of Holies in the Millennial Temple] in the midst of them  for evermore. My tabernacle [Millennial Temple] also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.”

The prophecy about the Millennial Temple and the twelve tribes of Israel in Zechariah and Ezekiel will be history in the future. Archeology has confirmed that the Jews’ presence and possession of the Promised Land in the past is true. Their presence and possession of the Promised Land in the future will be endorsed and enforced by King Jesus. Jesus is the Living Word! In the future, old and dead things will not need to be uncovered to confirm God’s promises to the Jewish people. The Millennial Kingdom will be filled with life. Jesus is Life and the giver of eternal life.

Bible History Accurate

True archeology continues to reinforce the history of the Bible. Of course, regardless of archeology, we know that the history of the King James Bible is 100% accurate. Secular history is often compromised by evil or misinformed people. We do not need archeology to correct the Bible. The Bible must always be the guiding light to correct any misunderstanding of things uncovered by archeology.

Bible Doctrine Correct

Just as the history of the King James Bible is 100% accurate, the doctrines of the Bible are 100% correct. The only way to be in God’s kingdom is by repenting of your sins and believing on Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Admit your a guilty sinner worthy to be cast into the Lake of Fire ( eternal hell ). With a contrite and sorrowful heart ask the Lord Jesus to forgive you of your sins, made possible by His shed blood at the cross of Calvary, and sincerely tell Him you are turning from and forsaking your sinful life. Acknowledge that you believe with all your heart that He resurrected from the grave the third day and that by faith in His promise, receive the free gift of Eternal life!
