Eastern Kings Cross Dry Euphrates River Go To Armageddon!

Euphrates River Path To Armageddon! Is the present day drying up of the Euphrates River a fulfillment of Bible prophecy? There are some definite things that must happen to fulfill the prophecy concerning the drying up of the Euphrates River.

The Euphrates River drying up, as prophesied in the Scriptures, will take place during the seven-year Tribulation, as prophesied by Daniel. At the beginning of the Tribulation, the Anti-Christ will sign a false peace agreement with Israel. This peace agreement with Israel has not yet been signed! Since the peace agreement has not been signed yet, this means that the Tribulation has not started. The prophecy of the Euphrates River drying up will not happen until near the end of the seven-year Tribulation.

Daniel 9:27 “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week [seven years]: and in the midst of the week [after three and one-half years] he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Anyone who repents and believes on the Lord Jesus as their Saviour before the signing of this false, seven-year peace agreement will be “caught up” to Heaven. Being “caught up” to Heaven will be announced by a trumpet blowing. Many Christians are more familiar with the term Rapture. The Rapture is a word used to mean believers are “caught up” to Heaven, by Jesus. Since the Rapture has not taken place yet, the Tribulation cannot start. The Tribulation will not start until after the Rapture of believers. Therefore, the prophecy of the Euphrates River drying up cannot happen now. This prophecy will be fulfilled during the Tribulation period.

Revelation 4:1 “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

The Lamb of God, Jesus, will take the book that unveils the seven-year Tribulation from God the Father. When Jesus opens the book, the Tribulation will begin. God will use the Tribulation to bring judgment on the nations who have been against Israel. But, God’s main purpose for the Tribulation period will be to turn many Jews from their sins to receive Jesus as their personal Saviour. The forces of Heaven and Hell will battle for the souls of men, women and children. Many Tribulation events will happen before the fulfillment of the prophecy of the Euphrates River being dried up.

Revelation 6:1-2 “And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”

Before the Euphrates River dries up, as prophesied, the rivers will be turned to blood. This includes the Euphrates River turning to blood. This will be a reminder to Christ rejecters that they murdered the saints and prophets. Most likely, it will also remind them of how they trampled under the precious blood of Jesus that can wash away their sins. Since the Euphrates has not turned to blood yet, we can be certain that the present day events of the river nearly drying up are not a fulfillment of the prophecy.

Revelation 16:4-6 “And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.”

A similar event to this happened in the days of Moses. By the command of God, the Nile River was turned into blood. But, this time all of the rivers of the world will turn to blood. The only exception may be the rivers in Israel. God protects and supplies for His chosen people, the Jews.

Exodus 7:20-21 “And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. 21 And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.”

There will be a great thirst for water during the time when the Vial Judgments are poured out on the Earth. The second and third vials will turn the sea, rivers and fountains of waters to blood, making them unfit to drink. All living things in these waters will die. The fourth vial will cause it to get so hot that men will plead for just one drop of water. The sixth vial will dry up the Euphrates River. All of these vials will be poured out by angels sent by God. An angel will cause the Euphrates to dry up when he pours his Vial Judgment on it. Drying up the river to fulfill this prophecy will not be the acts of men blocking the water with dams or by any other means. An angel will dry up the Euphrates so that the kings who are east of the Euphrates can cross on dry ground with their troops. Demons will gather nations such as Iran, China, India, Syria, Iraq and more to cross the dried up riverbed of the Euphrates. All the kings of the east will send their armies against Israel. Besides these nations, every other nation in the world will send their armies against Israel. This battle is called the Battle of Armageddon. Many things must happen before the Euphrates is dried up to fulfill the prophecy of Revelation 16:12. The Battle of Armageddon will take place near the end of the seven-year Tribulation. Shortly after the Euphrates River dries up, the Battle of Armageddon takes place. Men will not determine when the Euphrates River will dry up in order to fulfill prophecy. God is in complete control of when it will happen. When the Euphrates River dries up, it will happen at the right time and exactly as stated in the Scriptures.

Revelation 16:12-16 “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”

The following maps show the Euphrates River and the nations that are east of it. These are the nations that will cross the dry riverbed of the Euphrates River to fight against Israel. I encourage all of you in these eastern countries, and the Jews of Israel, to repent and believe on Jesus as your Saviour. If you do this, you will not be defeated at Armageddon. You will be “caught up” to Heaven before the seven-year Tribulation begins on Earth. Let the Euphrates River drying up in our present day be a warning of things to come. You can escape being defeated at the Battle of Armageddon and being punished in Hell, where there is no water!
