Boycotting goods from Israel was approved by the United Church of Christ in Canada. It is unfortunate when churches claiming to be Christian dilute the simple message of Jesus Christ with the mischievous and conniving world of politics. It is even more maddening when their politics fall on the wrong side of God’s word. In 2012, the leadership of the United Church of Christ in Canada resolved to boycott goods made in Israeli settlements in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and East Jerusalem. The reason for the boycott apparently lies in the United Church of Christ’s disapproval of the “illegal occupation” of these areas and its desire to help foster “a just peace” in the Middle East. Of course, a true Bible believer knows that the Jews have every right to occupy Israel. The land of Israel was given to the Jews by God. No one has a right to take their land away. There will not be any lasting peace in Israel until King Jesus rules from Jerusalem. The United Church of Christ and other denominations claiming to be Christian continue to oppose Israel. If you are in a church that opposes Israel, you are in a church that is facing God’s judgment. Many churches are filled with unsaved members who are on their way to Hell. Many of the members in these apostate churches have never believed on Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Also, they have never repented of their sins. These church members are religious, but they are spiritually lost. If you are in one of these apostate churches, we plead with you to believe on Jesus as your Saviour and repent of your sins. It is time for you to move to a Bible believing church that supports Israel. Read the following article and weep! Call or write to United Church of Christ and voice your outrage about their ungodly action. The United Church of Christ action against Israel is just another attempt by an apostate denomination to play into the hands of the Devil in these last days against God’s chosen people, the Apple of God’s eye. The Lord declares He will curse them, and the “them” in context is applicable to the United Church of Christ. Genesis 12:3 is still in the Bible and is still applicable today!
