God gave birth to the Jewish nation of Israel about 4,000 years ago. The nation of Israel started with the leader of a chosen group of people.

God Promised Abraham a Nation

The birth of Israel started with God’s promise to Abraham and his chosen, physical seed. The Scriptures clearly describe and identify the descendants of Abraham who are to possess the land of Israel, and the boundaries of the Promised Land is clearly defined. Israel started with a chosen, Jewish people who were promised the Promised Land of Israel.

God’s Preservation and Protection of Israel for Jews

A saved, Jewish remnant will possess the Promised Land of Israel in the future. God will keep His promise to Abraham because He is an all powerful, righteous, holy God who knows the future. Men fail to keep their promises, but God’s promises are never broken. Israel was reborn, as a nation, on May 14th 1948. God is presently preparing the Jewish people for their citizenship under King Jesus, their Messiah.

Arabs Are Not Promised Land In Israel

The Arabs, who are descendants of Ishmael, are not included in the promise of the Promised Land of Israel. Ishmael was called a wild man by God, Genesis 16:12. This wildness is apparent in his Arab descendants who constantly terrorize Israel. In 70 A.D., Israel was destroyed and scattered because of sin.

Rebellious Jews

Many of the Jews throughout history will never possess the Promised Land because of their rebellion against God. God gives every individual many chances to be saved, but there is a limit to those chances for salvation. God certainly wants every Jew and Gentile to receive salvation. But, each individual must choose, as Joshua of the Bible did.

God’s Promise to Abraham

Genesis 12:1-3 “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

When God called Abraham, he lived with his family in a different country than Israel. Israel did not exist yet, but God had plans to give birth to the nation of Israel. About 4,000 years ago, God told Abraham to leave his family and country. God promised Abraham and his chosen descendants the land where the nation of Israel would be established. Blessings and curses are tied to the promise of the Promised Land of Israel.

God Showed Abraham the Land of Israel

Genesis 12:6-7 “And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.”

Originally, the Canaanite people possessed the land that God promised to Abraham. Since God is the creator and owner of all land, He has the right to give it to who He pleases. God promised to give the Promised Land of Israel to Abraham’s chosen, physical seed. God made this promise to Abraham because he knew that Abraham would love and obey Him.

God Set the Boundaries of the Land of Israel

Genesis 15:18-21 “In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

God made a binding, legal agreement with Abraham. In the agreement, God described the exact boundaries of the nation of Israel. Presently, the Jews only possess a small portion of the land promised by God. Their Arab enemies are occupying much of the Promised Land of Israel. God promised to give the land to Abraham’s chosen, physical seed. God’s warranty deed is written in the Scriptures. Those who dispute God’s warranty deed, presented to the Jews for the land of Israel, will lose any legal battle that they fight against God. The land of Israel is guaranteed to the Jews by God. In the future, God will enforce the warranty deed for Israel. The Jews will finally possess all of the Promised Land.

Promised Land of Israel an Everlasting Possession

Genesis 17:8 “And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

God’s promise to Abraham and his seed was not a temporary promise. God gave the land to Abraham and his seed as an everlasting possession. None of the future is hidden from God. He knows that in the future, all the living Jews, at that time, will accept Jesus as their Saviour. The God of the Bible will be their only God. No one will be able to occupy the land of Israel without permission from the rightful, Jewish owners.

Ishmael and His Arab Descendants not Included in Promise to Abraham

Genesis 17:18-21 “And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.”

Abraham thought that God would use Ishmael and his seed to establish the nation of Israel. But, God told Abraham that this was not His plan. Ishmael would establish a great nation, but not the nation of Israel. According to the Scriptures, Ishmael or his Arab descendants have no legal right to any of the land of Israel. Israel is surrounded by the Arab descendants of Ishmael in our present day. Many of them are trying to take possession of the land promised to Abraham. Many of these Arabs call themselves Palestinians.

God made it clear to Abraham that Isaac is the chosen seed whose descendants would possess the land of Israel. God made the same covenant, about the land of Israel, with Isaac that was made with Abraham. Isaac and his chosen, Jewish descendants are the only people who have a rightful claim to the land of Israel, according to the Scriptures.

God’s Promise to Isaac and His Physical Seed

Genesis 26:1-5 “And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.”

God confirmed His covenant with Isaac. He promised to give the described land to establish the nation of Israel. God told Isaac that he was keeping His promise to Abraham. God made this promise to Abraham because He knew that Abraham would obey His words. Abraham followed God’s instructions. God made a promise to Abraham based on His knowledge of Abraham’s future obedience. The promise continued to Isaac and his physical seed. Even though the Jews have often failed God, He knows that a saved, Jewish remnant will faithfully serve Him in the future.

God’s Continued Promise to Jacob/Israel

Genesis 28:10-15 “And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.”

God carefully and clearly chose the descendants of Abraham to carry out the covenant that He made with Abraham. Isaac is the chosen son of Abraham to receive the promise of land from God. Jacob/Israel is the chosen son of Isaac whose physical seed is to receive the land promised from God.

Promised Land Promised to Jacob/Israel

Genesis 48:3-4 “And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me, And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.”

Jacob, also known as Israel, told Joseph about God’s promise of land to establish the nation of Israel. The promise was to Jacob’s physical seed. This is an everlasting promise of land possession. Since God’s promise cannot be broken, the chosen, Jewish people will possess the land of Israel in the future.

Twelve Tribes of Israel Will Possess the Promised Land

Genesis 49:28-30 “All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them. And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace.”

The sons of Jacob/Israel are the founding fathers of the nation of Israel. Jacob wanted to be buried in the country of Israel with his grandfather, Abraham. In the future, both Abraham and Jacob will be resurrected from their graves in the land of Israel. Along with the other saved, Jewish remnant, they will possess the land of Israel. It is their home given to them by God!

God’s Promise to Israel is Still Guaranteed

Hebrews 11:8-12 “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.”

The New Testament confirms that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are heirs of God’s promise of the Promised Land. These three men are part of the saved, Jewish remnant. They were saved by faith, and they lived by faith. In the future, God will bring New Jerusalem from Heaven to the nation of Israel. God gave birth to the nation of Israel, and He will see it grow to maturity. God will stand behind His promise to the Jewish people.

Land of Israel Divided Among Twelve Tribes

Numbers 33:50-54 “And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan; Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places: And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it. And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.”

Even though many Arab nations do not want to recognize the nation of Israel, God does. They were told to drive the Canaanites out of the land and take possession of it. God gave it to the Jewish people as a possession based on His promise. In the future, the twelve tribes of Israel will finally possess all of the Promised Land, Deuteronomy 1:8.

Israel Has Failed God Many Times, But God Keeps His Promises

Deuteronomy 9:4-6 “Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee. Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.”

Often, people state that it does not seem right that the Jews should possess all of Israel, including Jerusalem. But, God makes it clear why they are to possess the land of Israel. The former nations who possessed the land of Israel were very wicked. God chose to take the land away from them and give it to the Jewish people. He made a promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Since God made a promise, He must keep it. Sometimes, the Jewish people of Israel are very unrighteous. But, God knows in the future that many Jewish people will repent of their sins and believe on Jesus as their Saviour. God keeps His promises because He knows the future. Besides, God cannot lie because He is holy.

Abraham’s Family Served False Gods

Joshua 24:1-5 “And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God. And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac. And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt. I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out.”

Even though Abraham’s family served false gods, God turned him into a spiritual treasure. Abraham left the false gods behind to serve and worship the one and only true God of the Bible. God chose descendants of Abraham to fulfill His promise to Abraham. Like Ishmael, Esau was not included in the chosen, Jewish line to inherit the Promised Land. The chosen line of Jewish descendants passed through Egypt as God refined a saved, Jewish remnant on the way to Israel.

God’s Future Promise to Israel

Jeremiah 30:3-11 “For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he [Israel] shall be saved out of it. In the future, God will make sure that the promise is completely fulfilled. Since Rome attacked Israel in 70 A.D., Jews are still scattered all over the world. On May 14th, 1948, God began to draw many of them back to the Promised Land to form the nation of Israel once again. During the Millennial reign of King Jesus, the Jews will finally have rest from their enemies and they will not be afraid anymore. King Jesus, the Messiah, will rule them and the world from Jerusalem. This has not happened yet. But, since God stated it in the Scriptures, we can be certain that this prophecy will be fulfilled in the future. During the Tribulation, God will punish those Jews who continue to rebel against Him. But, a saved, Jewish remnant will come through the time of trouble, known as Jacob’s Trouble.

Avoid the Coming Trouble

Repent of your sins and believe on Jesus as your Saviour. Call on Jesus in a sinner’s prayer and ask Him to save you before it is too late. Those who accept Jesus as their personal Saviour before the Rapture of the Church, will not go through Jacob’s Trouble.

Israel has faced many troubles since her birth, around 4,000 years ago. Since her rebirth, in 1948, Israel has faced many more troubles. Israel’s troubles will not be over until after Jesus returns in His Second Coming.

God gave birth to the Jewish nation of Israel about 4,000 years ago. The nation of Israel started with the leader of a chosen group of people. God Promised Abraham a Nation The birth of Israel started with God’s promise to Abraham and his chosen, physical seed. The Scriptures clearly describe and identify the descendants of Abraham who are to possess the land of Israel, and the boundaries of the Promised Land is clearly defined. Israel started with a chosen, Jewish people who were promised the Promised Land of Israel. God’s Preservation and Protection of Israel for Jews A saved, Jewish remnant will possess the Promised Land of Israel in the future. Arabs Are Not Promised Land In Israel The Arabs, who are descendants of Ishmael, are not included in the promise of the Promised Land of Israel. Ishmael was called a wild man by God, Genesis 16:12. This wildness is apparent in his Arab descendants who constantly terrorize Israel. In 70 A.D., Israel was destroyed and scattered because of sin. Rebellious Jews Many of the Jews throughout history will never possess the Promised Land because of their rebellion against God. God gives every individual many chances to be saved, but there is a limit to those chances for salvation. God certainly wants every Jew and Gentile to receive salvation. But, each individual must choose, as Joshua of the Bible did. God’s Promise to Abraham Genesis 12:1-3 “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” When God called Abraham, he lived with his family in a different country than Israel. God Showed Abraham the Land of Israel Genesis 12:6-7 “And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.” Originally, the Canaanite people possessed the land that God promised to Abraham. Since God is the creator and owner of all land, He has the right to give it to who He pleases. God promised to give the Promised Land of Israel to Abraham’s chosen, physical seed. God made this promise to Abraham because he knew that Abraham would love and obey Him. God Set the Boundaries of the Land of Israel Genesis 15:18-21 “In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.” God made a binding, legal agreement with Abraham. Promised Land of Israel an Everlasting Possession Genesis 17:8 “And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” God’s promise to Abraham and his seed was not a temporary promise. Ishmael and His Arab Descendants not Included in Promise to Abraham Genesis 17:18-21 “And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.” Abraham thought that God would use Ishmael and his seed to establish the nation of Israel. God’s Promise to Isaac and His Physical Seed Genesis 26:1-5 “And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.” God confirmed His covenant with Isaac. God’s Continued Promise to Jacob/Israel Genesis 28:10-15 “And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.” God carefully and clearly chose the descendants of Abraham to carry out the covenant that He made with Abraham. Isaac is the chosen son of Abraham to receive the promise of land from God. Jacob/Israel is the chosen son of Isaac whose physical seed is to receive the land promised from God. Promised Land Promised to Jacob/Israel Genesis 48:3-4 “And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me, And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.” Jacob, also known as Israel, told Joseph about God’s promise of land to establish the nation of Israel. The promise was to Jacob’s physical seed. This is an everlasting promise of land possession. Since God’s promise cannot be broken, the chosen, Jewish people will possess the land of Israel in the future. Twelve Tribes of Israel Will Possess the Promised Land Genesis 49:28-30 “All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them. And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace.” The sons of Jacob/Israel are the founding fathers of the nation of Israel. God’s Promise to Israel is Still Guaranteed Hebrews 11:8-12 “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.” The New Testament confirms that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are heirs of God’s promise of the Promised Land. Land of Israel Divided Among Twelve Tribes Numbers 33:50-54 “And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan; Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places: And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it. And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.” Even though many Arab nations do not want to recognize the nation of Israel, God does. They were told to drive the Canaanites out of the land and take possession of it. God gave it to the Jewish people as a possession based on His promise. In the future, the twelve tribes of Israel will finally possess all of the Promised Land, Deuteronomy 1:8. Israel Has Failed God Many Times, But God Keeps His Promises Deuteronomy 9:4-6 “Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee. Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.” Often, people state that it does not seem right that the Jews should possess all of Israel, including Jerusalem. Abraham’s Family Served False Gods Joshua 24:1-5 “And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God. I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out.” Even though Abraham’s family served false gods, God turned him into a spiritual treasure. God’s Future Promise to Israel Jeremiah 30:3-11 “For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: But they [Israel] shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid. For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.” God made a promise to Abraham and some of his descendants. Avoid the Coming Trouble Repent of your sins and believe on Jesus as your Saviour. This year, Israel is celebrating her 70th year of her rebirth. Happy Birthday Israel! HIBM Editorial by Avi Goldstein * God Gave Birth To Israel! – Dr. K. Ishmael and His Arab Descendants not Included in Promise to Abraham Genesis 17:18-21 “And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.” Abraham thought that God would use Ishmael and his seed to establish the nation of Israel. God’s Continued Promise to Jacob/Israel Genesis 28:10-15 “And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. God’s Promise to Israel is Still Guaranteed Hebrews 11:8-12 “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.” The New Testament confirms that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are heirs of God’s promise of the Promised Land. Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.” Often, people state that it does not seem right that the Jews should possess all of Israel, including Jerusalem. Abraham’s Family Served False Gods Joshua 24:1-5 “And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God. I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out.” Even though Abraham’s family served false gods, God turned him into a spiritual treasure. Avoid the Coming Trouble Repent of your sins and believe on Jesus as your Saviour. This year, Israel is celebrating her 70th year of her rebirth. Happy Birthday Israel! HIBM Editorial by Avi Goldstein * God Gave Birth To Israel! – Dr. K.
