After the murder of five innocent military personnel in Tennessee by a Muslim terrorist, these fallen soldiers were honored across the country by the American flag being flown at half-staff. We thank those who willingly honored these slaughtered military personnel. It seemed fitting that God who set the moon in the sky allowed it to be illuminated as a half moon during this time of sorrow and tragic loss. It was impressive that while the American flags across the country were still at half-staff on July the 24th the moon was at 53% illumination.
Moon At 53% Illumination July 24th!
Earlier in the week, we were traveling across the country. We spoke to several people along the way about eternal life after death. For a short time, we arrived and stayed at a getaway. The green grass had sprung up over a foot tall during the rainy summer. Sweat bees landed on our arms like soldiers trying to satisfy their thirst. As we cut the grass, wolf spiders and crickets ran like terrorists looking for cover. When we heard about the terrorist attack in Tennessee, we were saddened by the loss of the soldiers. On July the 24th, the temperature climbed to around 100 degrees. Our chain saw buzzed as intruding brush was cut down. We cast the unwanted brush into a fire that slowly consumed it. As the night grew on, we roasted marshmallows and beef hot dogs over the hot coals of the brush fire. Cows mooed out in the pasture. Katydids sang like a Heavenly choir throughout the night. Jet planes flew silently high above with the bright stars in the background. Our son is soon going off to Bible college to study evangelism. In celebration, we shot off fireworks. They exploded loudly in the air as they blossomed into beautiful colors. In the distant darkness, we could hear a lone whippoorwill bird crying. It was sort of a sad sound. Fathers, mothers, wives, children, and friends cried in sorrow because they lost a loved one in the Tennessee terrorist attack.
Year after year, Jews have faced similar and worse deadly terrorist attacks by Muslims, like the terrorist attacks in Tennessee. We at Hope of Israel Baptist Mission encourage Muslims and others around the world to come to the true religion of peace by repenting and believing on Jesus as your personal Saviour. Jesus will bring peace to your soul and in your life.
John 14:1-6 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 14:27 [Jesus Said] “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
