The following survey that was done is both incredible and shocking; it should serve as a reminder to all God fearing Christians that we better be busy dispelling the myths against the Jewish people and be against all forms of bigotry towards the Jewish people. The reality is we as Bible Believing Christians are the best friends of the Jewish people and ought to be busy defending against ungodly  verbal attacks. Out of ignorance, some believers may not be aware of the deep hatred towards our friends the Jews. For this reason  one of our purposes of HIBM  is to educate people about what is going on in the world regarding Anti-Semitism, and to do our part in standing with Israel and the Jewish people as a whole. We are commanded in the Bible to Pray for her and to love her.

Here is a detail definition of  the term “Anti-Semitism” :

Antisemitism (also spelled anti-semitism or anti-Semitism) is suspicion of, hatred toward, or discrimination against Jews for reasons connected to their Jewish heritage. According to a 2005 U.S. governmental report, antisemitism is “hatred toward Jews—individually and as a group—that can be attributed to the Jewish religion and/or ethnicity.”[1] In an extreme form, it “attributes to the Jews an exceptional position among all other civilizations, defames them as an inferior group and denies their being part of the nation[s]” in which they reside.[2] A person who holds such views is called an “antisemite”. Antisemitism may be manifested in many ways, ranging from expressions of hatred of or discrimination against individual Jews to organized violent attacks by mobs, or even state police, or military attacks on entire Jewish communities. Extreme instances of persecution include the pogroms which preceded the First Crusade in 1096, the expulsion from England in 1290, the massacres of Spanish Jews in 1391, the persecutions of the Spanish Inquisition, the expulsion from Spain in 1492, theexpulsion from Portugal in 1497, various Russianpogroms, the Dreyfus Affair, and the Final Solution by Hitler’s Germany and official Soviet anti-Jewish policies.

While the term’s etymology might suggest that antisemitism is directed against all Semitic peoples, the term was coined in the late 19th century in Germany as a more scientific-sounding term for Judenhass (“Jew-hatred”),[3] and that has been its normal use since then.[4]

ADL Survey: 15% of Americans are Anti- Semitic

Survey conducted by the Anti-Defamation League finds that nearly 35 million Americans harbor deeply anti-Semitic views.

Anti-Semitism is growing in the United States, according to a nationwide survey released on Thursday.

The survey, conducted by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), found that 15 percent of the population – nearly 35 million Americans – holds deeply anti-Semitic views. According to The New York Daily News, which presented the findings, the survey found that old stereotypes about Jews being pushy and controlling the economy are festering, especially among the least-educated Americans. The survey found that 19 percent of Americans think that it is “probably true” that the statement that “Jews have too much control/influence on Wall Street” is correct. This marks a five percentage point increase since 2009.

It was also found that 14 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that “Jews have too much power in the U.S. today,” an increase from 13 percent in 2009. As well, 15 percent that agreed Jews are “more willing to use shady practices,” and 16 percent agreed that Jewish “business people are so shrewd, others don’t have a chance.” These findings are consistent with the recent Occupy Wall Street protests which took on anti-Jewish characteristics.

During one of the protests, a black American protester stated that “the people who run Wall Street are guilty of crimes against humanity. A small ethnic group consists of…almost all bankers on Wall Street are Jewish. “There is a conspiracy in this country, and Jews control the media, the finances,” he added. “The Jews represent two percent of the population…and have pooled their money together to take control of Americans finances….”

He also charged that both the Democratic and Republican parties based their campaigns to “appease Jewish Americans because Jewish money controls American politics….”

The ADL survey also found that some 31 percent of Americans believe that the Jews were responsible for crucifying Jesus.

Why does ADL consistently include this in their surveys or criteria for anti-semitism? This would only be true if the Jewish people as a whole had nothing to do with the crucifixion. The fact is that not only did the Nation of Israel reject their Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, but the whole world is just as guilty for the death of Christ. The Jewish leaders screamed ” Crucify him, crucify him”,  and they said that his blood be upon them and their children; however, it was the Romans who actually carried out the death penalty and gave into their demands, it was a Roman centurion who pierced his side.

The fact remains that Jesus gave up his life a ransom for the whole world, Jew and Gentile alike, no man took his life, Christ gave it, he could have called thousands of Angels to rescue him, but He didn’t, He was willing to die for the sin of the world. Christ is the Saviour of the world, not just for the Jewish people, therefore we are all guilty of the death of Christ. It would be true, if the Jews ONLY are singled out for the death of Christ then indeed this would be an anti-semitic slur, a blaming of the Jews for something we are all responsible. It is not anti-semitic though to include the Jewish people as part of the crucifixion process. It was prophesied over 700 years before the death of Christ, that He would die for His people, the Jews. Christ bore the sins not only of the Jewish Nation, but of the whole world.

On the other hand it was primarily the masses of the Jewish people who received Christ as their Messiah, before and after His death. The foundation of the church is built on those Jews who became His disciples and for approx 15 years after Pentecost the church was mostly consisting of Jewish believers. We are sadden about the results of this survey, and it also demonstrates that the Jewish people will continue to be the scape goat for the ills of the world until Christ returns and set everything in order. Today, Israel is considered to be the tail of the Nations, but biblically, one day in the near future, Christ will make them the head of all the nations during the 1000 year reign. Israel will suffer until such time. Let us continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem like all Bible believing Christians ought to do daily – Psalms 122:6

One major fact most ignore, God has used the Jewish people to be a “blessing to all the families of earth”  -  Genesis 12:3. If they have progressed more than any other group, it has been to the benefit and good well-being of this world. We are indebted to them for bringing into this world our Saviour Jesus Christ – Jesus was born of the seed of David as mentioned in Romans chp 1; the holy Scriptures – it was committed unto them (the Jews) the oracles of God as mentioned in Romans chp 3; and especially the message of Salvation – salvation is of the Jews, as mentioned in John 4:22

It also found that 30 percent think Jews are “more loyal to Israel than to America.

”The New York Daily News noted that the survey found that the most-educated Americans were the least prejudiced and foreign-born Hispanics were more likely to hate Jews than U.S.-born Hispanics. As well, some 29 percent of the African-Americans surveyed expressed strong anti-Semitic views.

The ADL’s national director, Abraham Foxman, responded to the survey and told The Daily News, “It is disturbing that with all of the strides we have made in becoming a more tolerant society, anti-Semitic beliefs continue to hold a vise-grip on a small but not insubstantial segment of the American public.”

The telephone survey was conducted among 1,754 adults in October.

You well be able to listen to the greatest Messianic Prophecy of the TANACH ( Old-Testament) which is Isaiah 53.  This prophecy was inspired by God  714 years before Christ Jesus first coming. Anybody that is seeking the truth with their whole heart will see clearly that this must be talking about Christ the Messiah. If you read our article “How a Rabbi Found Peace” it will explain away any so-called arguments to the contrary. In fact, this portion of the scripture was removed out of the Jewish Prayer Book many years ago for fear that the Jewish people might believe it is referring to Christ, well, it is absolutely talking about Him. The pictures below are all related to the Dead Sea Scrolls, especially, the Isaiah Scroll which is almost 2000 years old discovered in 1947 in the Qumran Caves. Amazing how God preserved these scrolls, to prove to the world that Christ is indeed the Messiah and that the King James Bible is perfectly faithful to the original manuscripts;

Note that the book of Isaiah had approx. 100 Messianic Prophecies in it. Christ fulfilled every one of them regarding His 1st coming. One of the greatest statisticians proclaimed that the 0dds of one person fulfilling only one of these Messianic Prophecies would be like – flying over the state of Texas and throwing out a quarter size coin, landing the plane,  then attempting to discover where the coin dropped on the ground. You say the chances of finding the coin is near impossible, true! How much greater is it that Christ fulfilled over 100 Messianic Prophecies. 1Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

Whether you believe that there will be a World War against Israel before  or after the Rapture of the Church, surely doesn’t negate the fact the the sign of the times demonstrate at least stepping stones to such a War is imminent. We  understand the scriptures as teaching that such a War as Gog and Magog mentioned in Ezk 38, 39  is the  culmination of Armageddon at the end of the seven year Tribulation period mentioned in Rev 19     ( It is also very possible that there will be smaller wars extending from the middle of the Tribulation leading upto the big one at the end ). But the real Battle against Jerusalem by ALL Nations ( even the USA if we are still around ), will not happen until towards the end of the Great Tribulation, which enemies of Israel and of God will be brought into the valley of decision ( Armageddon ) by God Himself and will put His enemies under His feet. Please don’t confuse this with the last battle of all time against the devil after the 1000 year rule which has the same title as “Gog and Magog” of Rev 20:8.  Nevertheless, the drumbeats of such Wars and Rumors of Wars are sounding everywhere. Least continue to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, especially that many of God’s chosen people the Jews will come to their Messiah Jesus before the Rapture, because “Jacob’s Trouble”  as foretold in the TANACH ( the Old Testament ) will be the worst Holocaust the Jewish people will  experience.  This is why it is so pressing that we distribute the New-Covenant among the Jewish people before that great and notable day of the Lord comes.    Read the article below on all the talk about the pending Israel attack on Iran.


Israel on edge over preparations to attack Iran

Israel for the past week has been on edge as local media brings to light intensive government discussions over whether or not to launch a preemptive strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

It started last Friday when Israel’s largest newspaper, Yediot Ahronot, ran a frontpage editorial asserting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak had already determined that a strike on Iran was necessary, and were applying pressure to get the rest of the cabinet to give a green light.

Days later, the Knesset was embroiled in constant debate over the necessity of attacking Iran before it could build a nuclear bomb. Western intelligence officials now believe Iran is seeking nuclear weapons, but may still be two years away from fielding operational warheads.

A number of government officials blasted the fact that the debate over whether or not to strike Iran had burst forth into the public domain, arguing that if such a strike is deemed necessary, Israel may have lost all hope of surprising the enemy.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman in an interview with Israel Radio did not refute that an Iran strike is being discussed, but did say that much of what is being reported in the media is inaccurate.

Fuelling local fears that an attack on Iran is imminent were three major military exercises conducted over the past week:

1. On Wednesday, Israeli Air Force pilots returned from a large-scale joint exercise with the Italian Air Force. The drills included long-range refueling. The only current threat far enough from Israel to require its fighters to refuel mid-air is Iran.

2. Earlier this week, Israel successfully test fired a new “ballistic” version of Jericho III long-range missile. The new Jericho III enables Israel to deliver heavy payloads to targets anywhere in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and much of North America. Foreign media also noted that the missiles could be fitted with the hundreds of nuclear warheads Israel is believed to possess.

3. On Thursday, Israel’s Home Front Command conducted a major drill in the Tel Aviv region simulating along-range enemy missile strike on Israel’s population centers. Iran has warned that if Israel strikes its nuclear facilities, missiles will rain down on Israeli cities. Syria would presumably join Iran in such an attack.

 

On top of all the local activity, British newspaper The Guardian reported on Wednesday that the British military is “accelerating” preparations to take part in a US-led strike on Iran.

The report came just days after the head of the British military, Gen. David Richards visited Israel. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak is currently in London holding talks with Britain’s top defense officials.

London’s Daily Mail followed up with a report citing officials who said US President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron had determined that after years of diplomatic efforts, there is now no alternative to military intervention as a means of halting Iran’s nuclear program.

Obama and Cameron “are preparing for war after reports that Iran now has enough enriched uranium for four nuclear weapons,” reported the paper.

While a strike on Iran is certainly not a given, all the talk and obvious preparations have put most Israelis on edge.

Many in Israel believe there will ultimately be no choice but to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities – just as Israel did to Iraq in 1981 and to Syria in 2007 – but know that such a move will carry a heavy price tag.

Even if Israel does not play a direct role in a military operation against Iran, it would bear the brunt of the retaliation. And if Iran responded by firing unconventional weapons at Tel Aviv, Israel would be compelled to launch a counter-strike.

Syrian chief warns attack will set Middle East aflame

 TEL AVIV – NATO troops are training in Turkey for a Turkish-led NATO invasion of Syria, a senior Syrian diplomatic official claimed to WND.

 

 

Separately, informed Middle East security officials said Russia has been inspecting Syrian forces and has been advising Syria about possible Syrian military responses should NATO attack the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The officials said Russia recently sold Syria a large quantity of Iskander ballistic missiles, and that, in light of the NATO threat, the Russian government renewed its pledge to sell Syria the advanced S-300 anti-missile system.

The Syrian diplomatic official, meanwhile, recognized his country receives general support from Russia, but told WND that Assad’s regime is concerned the European Union and U.S. may offer Russia an economic incentive to scale back Russian support for Syria.

The report comes as Assad reportedly warned yesterday he will set the Middle East on fire if NATO forces attack his country.

 ”If a crazy measure is taken against Damascus, I will need not more than six hours to transfer hundreds of rockets and missiles to the Golan Heights to fire them at Tel Aviv,” Assad reportedly said, according to Iran’s state-run Fars news agency.

Assad made the comments in a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmad Davutoglu, reported Fars.

Fars reported Davutoglu conveyed a warning from NATO and the U.S. that Syria could face an international military campaign if Assad does not halt his violent crackdown on an insurgency targeting the Syrian president’s regime.

Assad also reiterated that Damascus will call on Hezbollah in Lebanon to launch an intensive rocket and missile attack on Israel, reported Fars.

“All these events will happen in three hours, but in the second three hours, Iran will attack the U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf and the U.S. and European interests will be targeted simultaneously,” Assad was quoted as saying.

 

 

 

 

 

While Assad’s remarks could not be immediately verified, Iran, which runs Fars, is a close partner to the Damascus government.

WND first reported in August that Assad is taking military measures to prepare for a possible U.S.-NATO campaign against his regime.

Informed Egyptian security officials told WND Assad instructed the Syrian military to be prepared for an air or ground campaign if the international community determines his pledges of reform are not enough.

Also in August, WND first reported Turkey secretly passed a message to Damascus that if it does not implement major democratic reforms, NATO may attack Assad’s regime, according to Egyptian security officials.

The Egyptian security officials said the message was coordinated with NATO members, specifically with the U.S. and European Union.

The Egyptian officials said Turkish leaders, speaking for NATO, told Assad that he has until March to implement democratization that would allow free elections as well as major constitutional reforms.

Last month, Obama officially asked Assad to step down to pave the way for a democratic system in Syria.

According to informed Middle Eastern security officials speaking to WND, Assad asked his military to make specific preparations in the event of a U.S.-led NATO campaign similar to the military coalition now targeting Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.

George Soros-funded doctrine with White House ties

The Libya bombings have been widely regarded as a test of a military doctrine called “Responsibility to Protect.”

In his address to the nation in April explaining the NATO campaign in Libya, Obama cited the doctrine as the main justification for U.S. and international airstrikes against Libya.

Responsibility to Protect, or Responsibility to Act, as cited by Obama, is a set of principles, now backed by the United Nations, based on the idea that sovereignty is not a privilege but a responsibility that can be revoked if a country is accused of “war crimes,” “genocide,” “crimes against humanity” or “ethnic cleansing.”

The term “war crimes” has at times been indiscriminately used by various United Nations-backed international bodies, including the International Criminal Court, or ICC, which applied it to Israeli anti-terror operations in the Gaza Strip. There has been fear the ICC could be used to prosecute U.S. troops who commit alleged “war crimes” overseas.

The Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect is the world’s leading champion of the military doctrine.

As WND reported, billionaire activist George Soros is a primary funder and key proponent of the Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect. Several of the doctrine’s main founders also sit on boards with Soros.

WND reported the committee that devised the Responsibility to Protect doctrine included Arab League Secretary General Amre Moussa as well as Palestinian legislator Hanan Ashrawi, a staunch denier of the Holocaust who long served as the deputy of late Palestinian Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat.

Also, the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy has a seat on the advisory board of the 2001 commission that originally founded Responsibility to Protect. The commission is called the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty. It invented the term “responsibility to protect” while defining its guidelines.

The Carr Center is a research center concerned with human rights located at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Samantha Power, the National Security Council special adviser to Obama on human rights, was Carr’s founding executive director and headed the institute at the time it advised in the founding of Responsibility to Protect.

With Power’s center on the advisory board, the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty first defined the Responsibility to Protect doctrine.

Power reportedly heavily influenced Obama in consultations leading to the decision to bomb Libya.

Two of the global group’s advisory board members, Ramesh Thakur and Gareth Evans, are the original founders of the doctrine, with the duo even coining the term “responsibility to protect.”

As WND reported, Soros’ Open Society Institute is a primary funder and key proponent of the Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect. Also, Thakur and Evans sit on multiple boards with Soros.

Soros’ Open Society is one of only three nongovernmental funders of the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect. Government sponsors include Australia, Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, Rwanda and the U.K.

Board members of the group include former U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, former Ireland President Mary Robinson and South African activist Desmond Tutu. Robinson and Tutu have recently made solidarity visits to the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip as members of a group called The Elders, which includes former President Jimmy Carter.

Annan once famously stated, “State sovereignty, in its most basic sense, is being redefined – not least by the forces of globalization and international co-operation. States are … instruments at the service of their peoples and not vice versa.”

Soros: Right to ‘penetrate nation-states’

Soros himself outlined the fundamentals of Responsibility to Protect in a 2004 Foreign Policy magazine article titled “The People’s Sovereignty: How a New Twist on an Old Idea Can Protect the World’s Most Vulnerable Populations.”

In the article Soros said, “True sovereignty belongs to the people, who in turn delegate it to their governments.”

“If governments abuse the authority entrusted to them and citizens have no opportunity to correct such abuses, outside interference is justified,” Soros wrote. “By specifying that sovereignty is based on the people, the international community can penetrate nation-states’ borders to protect the rights of citizens.

“In particular,” he continued, “the principle of the people’s sovereignty can help solve two modern challenges: the obstacles to delivering aid effectively to sovereign states, and the obstacles to global collective action dealing with states experiencing internal conflict.”

More George Soros ties

“Responsibility” founders Evans and Thakur served as co-chairmen with Vartan Gregorian, president of Carnegie Corp. Charitable Foundation, on the advisory board of the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty, which invented the term “responsibility to protect.”

In his capacity as co-chairman, Evans also played a pivotal role in initiating the fundamental shift from sovereignty as a right to “sovereignty as responsibility.”

Evans presented Responsibility to Protect at the July 23, 2009, United Nations General Assembly, which was convened to consider the principle.

Thakur is a fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation, which is in partnership with an economic institute founded by Soros.

Soros is on the executive board of the International Crisis Group, a “crisis management organization” for which Evans serves as president-emeritus.

WND previously reported how the group has been petitioning for the U.S. to normalize ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, the main opposition in Egypt, where longtime U.S. ally Hosni Mubarak was recently toppled.

Aside from Evans and Soros, the group includes on its board Egyptian opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei, as well as other personalities who champion dialogue with Hamas, a violent offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.

WND also reported the crisis group has petitioned for the Algerian government to cease “excessive” military activities against al-Qaida-linked groups and to allow organizations seeking to create an Islamic state to participate in the Algerian government.

Soros’ own Open Society Institute has funded opposition groups across the Middle East and North Africa, including organizations involved in the current chaos.

‘One World Order’

WND reported that doctrine founder Thakur recently advocated for a “global rebalancing” and “international redistribution” to create a “New World Order.”

In a piece last March in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper, “Toward a new world order,” Thakur wrote, “Westerners must change lifestyles and support international redistribution.”

He was referring to a United Nations-brokered international climate treaty in which he argued, “Developing countries must reorient growth in cleaner and greener directions.”

In the opinion piece, Thakur then discussed recent military engagements and how the financial crisis has impacted the U.S.

“The West’s bullying approach to developing nations won’t work anymore – global power is shifting to Asia,” he wrote.

“A much-needed global moral rebalancing is in train,” he added.

Thakur continued: “Westerners have lost their previous capacity to set standards and rules of behavior for the world. Unless they recognize this reality, there is little prospect of making significant progress in deadlocked international negotiations.”

Thakur contended “the demonstration of the limits to U.S. and NATO power in Iraq and Afghanistan has left many less fearful of ‘superior’ Western power.”

Syria’s Assad intent on dragging Israel into his mess

Syrian President Bashar Assad on Tuesday reportedly threatened to bombard Tel Aviv with ballistic missiles if NATO or other Western powers dare to interfere with his violent crackdown on Syrian pro-democracy demonstrations.

Iran’s Fars news agency reported that Assad made the threat during a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmad Davutoglu. According to Assad, he would “not need more than 6 hours to transfer hundreds of rockets and missiles to the Golan Heights to fire them at Tel Aviv.”

Assad reportedly said the Syrian missile barrage would also be complimented by an intense Hizballah missile assualt from Lebanon on northern Israel.

Were that scenario to play out, Assad is said to be confident that Iran would launch an attack on US warships in the Persian Gulf.

While the situation is wholly out of Israel’s hands, there is concern in the Jewish state over what Assad may interpret as Western interference.

Israeli commentators have already stressed that if Assad feels he is going to be toppled, he will have nothing to lose by launching a last minute attack on Israel. In fact, by doing so he has much to gain, as a missile assault on Tel Aviv would solidify Assad’s legacy as a dedicated enemy of the hated “Zionist entity.”

Meanwhile, the Obama Administration was outraged on Tuesday when Russia and China vetoed a UN Security Council resolution condemning the Assad regime’s brutal suppression of pro-democracy protestors in Syria.

Russia and China “would rather sell arms to the Syrian regime than stand with the Syrian people,” said US Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice after storming out of the Security Council. “Today the courageous people of Syria can now see who on this council supports their yearning for liberty and universal human rights and who does not.”

Conservative estimates are that 2,700 civilians have been killed by force loyal to Assad over the past six months.

WASHINGTON Post – Religious freedom advocates rallied Wednesday (Sept. 28) around an Iranian pastor who is facing execution because he has refused to recant his Christian faith in the overwhelmingly Muslim country.
The British-based group Christian Solidarity Worldwide has asked international supporters to urge Iranian officials to halt plans to execute Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani.
The pastor was found guilty of apostasy last year, and the conviction has been upheld by the Iranian Supreme Court. If carried out, the execution would mark the first time since 1990 that an Iranian pastor was killed for his Christian faith.
“Despite the finding that Mr. Nadarkhani did not convert to Christianity as an adult, the court continues to demand that he recant his faith or otherwise be executed,” said Leonard Leo, chair of theU.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom. “The most recent court proceedings are not only a sham, but are contrary to Iranian law and international human rights standards.”
House Speaker John Boehner called on Iranian leaders “to abandon this dark path, spare Youcef Nadarkhani’s life, and grant him a full and unconditional release.”
The attention on Nadarkhani comes a week after Iran released two American hikers who had been in custody for two years after they were convicted of spying, which they denied.
Writing in the National Review Online, religious freedom activist Nina Shea said Western voices made a difference in the hikers’ case and could influence the pastor’s fate: “Those of us in the free world should press our members of Congress to speak up.”

The White House condemned the conviction and possible death sentence for an Iranian pastor who refuses to renounce his Christian faith on Thursday, saying the execution would further demonstrate Iranian authorities “utter disregard” for religious freedom.
Youcef Nadarkhani, 32, who maintains he has never been a Muslim as an adult, has Islamic ancestry and therefore must recant his faith in Jesus Christ, the 11th branch of Iran’s Gilan Provincial Court has ruled. Iran’s Supreme Court had ordered the trial court to determine whether Nadarkhani had been a Muslim prior to converting to Christianity.

“Pastor Nadarkhani has done nothing more than maintain his devout faith, which is a universal right for all people,” the statement released by the White House read. “That the Iranian authorities would try to force him to renounce that faith violates the religious values they claim to defend, crosses all bounds of decency, and breaches Iran’s own international obligations. A decision to impose the death penalty would further demonstrate the Iranian authorities’ utter disregard for religious freedom, and highlight Iran’s continuing violation of the universal rights of its citizens. We call upon the Iranian authorities to release Pastor Nadarkhani, and demonstrate a commitment to basic, universal human rights, including freedom of religion.”
Attorney Mohammad Ali Dadkhah told The Associated Press on Thursday that his client has appeared before the appeals court over the past four days and expects a ruling by the end of next week. Dadkhah said he believes there’s a “95 percent chance” of acquittal for Nadarkhani.
Dadkhah said neither Iranian law nor clerics have ever stipulated the death penalty as punishment for converting from Islam to Christianity.
The judges in the case, according to the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ), demanded that Nadarkhani recant his Christian faith before submission of evidence. Though the judgment runs against current Iranian and international laws and is not codified in Iranian penal code, the judge stated that the court must uphold the decision of the 27th Branch of the Supreme Court in Qom.
When asked to repent, Nadarkhani stated: “Repent means to return. What should I return to? To the blasphemy that I had before my faith in Christ?”
“To the religion of your ancestors, Islam,” the judge replied, according to the American Center for Law & Justice.
“I cannot,” Nadarkhani said.
An unnamed source close to Nadarkhani’s attorney told the American Center for Law and Justice that a judge has agreed to overturn Nadarkhani’s death sentence, but the report could not be independently confirmed.
Even if the sentence is overturned, Jordan Sekulow, the executive director of the ACLJ, said the message is that it would be unlikely that Nadarkhani would be set free.
Nadarkhani is the latest Christian cleric to be imprisoned in Iran for his religious beliefs. According to Elam Ministries, a United Kingdom-based organization that serves Christian churches in Iran, there was a significant increase in the number of Christians arrested solely for practicing their faith between June 2010 and January 2011. A total of 202 arrests occurred during that six-month period, including 33 people who remained in prison as of January, Elam reported.
An Assyrian evangelical pastor, Rev. Wilson Issavi, was imprisoned for 54 days for allegedly converting Muslims prior to his release in March 2010, Elam officials told FoxNews.com.
Nadarkhani, a pastor in the 400-member Church of Iran, has been held in that country’s Gilan Province since October 2009, after he protested to local education authorities that his son was forced to read from the Koran at school. His wife, Fatemeh Pasandideh, was also arrested in June 2010 in an apparent attempt to pressure him to renounce his faith. She was released in October 2010, according to Amnesty International.
Nadarkhani was sentenced to death for apostasy last September based on religious writings by Iranian clerics, including Ayatollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, despite the fact that there is no offense of “apostasy” in the nation’s penal code, Amnesty International reports.
In June, the Supreme Court of Iran ruled that a lower court should re-examine procedural flaws in the case, giving local judges the power to decide whether to release, execute or retry Nadarkhani. The verdict, according to Amnesty International, includes a provision for the sentence to be overturned should Nadarkhani renounce his faith.
Elise Auerbach, an Iranian analyst for Amnesty International USA, told FoxNews.com that an execution for apostasy has not been carried out in Iran since 1990. Nadarkhani’s sentence is a “clear violation of international law,” she said.
“The key is to keep up the pressure and to publicize the story because it obviously outrages most people,” Auerbach said. “It’s part of the pattern of persecution based on religion in Iran.”
Kiri Kankhwende, a spokeswoman for Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a human rights organization that specializes in religious freedom, told FoxNews.com that Nadarkhani was asked for the fourth time to renounce his faith during a hearing early Wednesday and he denied that request.
“We’re waiting to hear the final outcome,” she told FoxNews.com. “We’re still waiting to hear what they’ve decided.”
Kankhwende said Nadarkhani could be executed Wednesday or Thursday.
“Iran is unpredictable,” she said. “We can’t say when it might happen. It’s a very real threat, but we can’t say when exactly.”
Officials at the U.S. State Department declined to comment when reached on Wednesday.
House Speaker John Boehner said Nadarkhani’s case is “distressing for people of every country and creed,” according to a statement released on Wednesday.
“While Iran’s government claims to promote tolerance, it continues to imprison many of its people because of their faith,” the statement read. “This goes beyond the law to an issue of fundamental respect for human dignity. I urge Iran’s leaders to abandon this dark path, spare [Nadarkhani's] life, and grant him a full and unconditional release.”

It never ceases to amaze me how crafty the devil is to undermine the security of Israel and Jewish people worldwide. There is an under current, an embedded unjust hatred of God’s Chosen People the Jews circulated among so-called Peace Activist. As far as we are concerned, there is no difference between there ungodly verbal tactics and the terrorist they appear to side with. They are surely ledgimatizing them however you slice it.  These “Peace-Green” companies are taking more active roles these days in attacking Israel while aiding terrorist goals for the destruction of Israel. They are doing this without any government intervention or political protest. Sadly the British have a terrible history of being anti-semitic and anti-Israel for many years. They reneged on the  Balfour Declaration 1917:

I heard that they are building more Mosques than Churches, and that there is a spiritual darkness upon the land. The current riots in London speak volumes of a society gone spiritualy and morally bankrupt. WoW demands that Israel take down its security fence, end the Gaza naval blockade, and accept the Palestinians’ “right of return,” which in essence denies Israel’s right to exist and calls for its destruction through demographic changes.

As the UK Zionist Federation observes, it would be worth refuting some of these, in complainants’ own words. As mentioned in the second of my two posts cited above, blogger Edgar Davidson contacted the company as soon as he became aware of its mischief, and his example is worth following.

 

For instance, Lush claims: “Israel’s siege of Gaza has condemned its 1.5 million inhabitants to levels of poverty more commonly associated with sub-Saharan Africa – a humanitarian disaster with no end in sight.”

It will come as a surprise to Lush, but the life expectancy of the average Gazan is longer than that of the average Glaswegian:

The Lush website notes:“A third generation of Palestinian children is now being brought up in refugee camps inside and outside Palestine”.

Surely it should be pointed out to the company that the Arab nations have done nothing to help these people, who they have cynically used as pawns for the past 60-odd years. Perhaps Lush could direct its indignation at the Arab governments, and suggest to them that they help the children whose plight they so unfairly lay at Israel’s door. Whereas Israel successfully integrated the hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees made homeless by Arab states, the far richer Arab regimes made no effort to integrate the Arabs who left Palestine.

And then, trotted out on the Lush website is the familiar trope “All the above actions are illegal under International Law”

They should be informed that (unlike Hamas, which has never permitted the Red Cross access to Gilad Shalit and which terrorises its own people) Israel adheres fully to the tenets of the Geneva Convention.
Perhaps Lush can be asked why it fails to demand that Hamas cease its persecution of gays, its increasing repression of women, and its habit of firing Qassams at civilian targets inside Israel. Needless to say, Lush is unconcerned with the fact that the Hamas Charter that calls for the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of Jews wherever they live.

Lush should also be informed that far from being a counterpart to Apartheid South Africa, as insisted by the One World campaign that Lush promotes, Israel’s minorities enjoy more rights than do the mass of citizens elsewhere in the region who are clamouring for democracy, the form of government that has prevailed in Israel since its foundation in 1948. Israel, Lush should be informed, was the first country in the Middle East in which Arab women were able to vote; there are Arab members of the Knesset; an Arab sits on the Israeli Supreme Court, and if they wish Arab citizens of Israel can serve in the IDF.

Moreover, there is complete freedom of worship in Israel, and the Bahai, so terribly maltreated in Iran where the Bahai faith began, have their world headquarters in Haifa.

It never ceases to amaze me how apostate ecumenical organizations like the World Council of Churches  (WCC)  have the audacity to call themselves “Christian” and at the same time go against the Nation of Israel with a vengeance not seen but among the Neo-Nazi and anti-Israel Islamic groups. True Bible Believing born again Christians would never attack Israel or verbally assault her with anti-Semitic rhetoric. The Bible is very clear that those who oppose the “Apple of God’s Eye” meaning the Jews and the Nation of Israel, will be under the judgement of God: 

Isa 29:8    It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.

The World Council of Churches recently sponsored a debate on the situation of Christians in the Middle East that went unnoticed by most, but which provided another huge red flag in regards to the direction the Church is going as it relates to Israel and the Jews.

Meeting in Volos, Greece, a collection of 30 theologians, social scientists, politicians and church representatives labored for five days to decisively identify the reason for shrinking Christian communities across the Middle East.

They could have saved their time and their money for other things like, you know, feeding the poor, because everyone already knew what the conclusion was going to be. Israel, and specifically Zionism, is making life untenable for Christians in the region, announced the group in its closing statement. “…conflict situations such as Palestine…have seen significant drops in the Christian populations because
of Israeli occupation,” said the World Council of Churches, ignoring the myriad other reasons why Christians no longer feel comfortable or safe in a society where Hamas can win a landslide electoral victory.

In place like Egypt, where Christians are increasingly being targeted for their faith in the wake of “democratic” revolutions, the council attributed the shrinking Christian demographic to “economic and immigration realities.”

This was to be expected from the World Council of Churches, a Geneva-based organization that represents 347 Protestant churches and denominations, and counts among its constituents more than 500 million Christians world-wide. In a 2007 conference in Jordan that also focused on dwindling Christian communities in the Middle East, the group called for a political crusade to end the Jews’ “occupation” of their biblical lands.

When it comes to the Christian situation in the Middle East, Islam is just not a problem. It’s all those pesky Jews.

The Church in general has a long history of dedicating resources to harassing the Jews and painting them as the “enemies of Christ(rians),” which the Bible specifically warns against. Many thought we had moved beyond all that, that the horrors of the Holocaust had finally woken the Church to how wrong it had been. In fact, those Christians involved today in this new brand of Israel bashing will most loudly protest the label of anti-Semitism. But, as the saying goes, “methinks they do protest too loudly.”

What the World Council of Churches and others like it are doing is rebranding that most anti-Semitic of doctrines – Replacement Theology.

Instead of calling for their heads, this new brand of Replacement Theology sheds crocodile tears for the Jews as mistreated lost souls who once tasted God’s goodness, but have since been replaced as His “chosen” because of their rejection of Jesus.

They do not hate the Jews (at least not openly), but they believe the biblical promises made to national Israel have expired. And that is where the State of Israel comes in. If God’s promises to national Israel are no longer valid, then modern Israel has nothing to do with biblical prophecy or God’s plan of global redemption.

And, if God’s big picture plans don’t include the reborn Jewish state, then these Christians feel freer to pursue their unbiblical humanist agenda – seeking what they call “social justice” for Palestinian Christians.

But Jesus never taught his followers to fight for “social justice” by seeking political sovereignty. He taught that His followers would be persecuted and should endure that situation with humility and meekness in order to reach their oppressors, real or perceived, with His message of love.

Ultimately, the aim of groups like the World Council of Churches is not biblical, it’s not even about genuine social justice. Whether they know it or not, whether they accept it or not, their agenda is about advancing the cause of Islam and reversing what God is doing in this land.

        One of the clearest prophecies of the last days that is coming true before our eyes is Daniel 12:4 “Knowledge shall be increased”. I remember the days when the first Mac PC came out and I thought 10 megabytes for a hard-drive was incredible. Now you can buy a removable memory stick that can hold 16 gigabytes, or a hard-drive that can hold 2 terabytes , a blue-ray disc can hold 50 gigabytes and they are working on ones that can a lot more. Every  year we hear about new technologies to hold more information and faster ways to transmit such information.  This enable us throughout world to increase in knowledge at a rapid pace. Remember hearing about the days when it took  months to get mail by horseback, now we get the News from one side of world  almost real time, and the news is reported instantaneously via the Internet or satellite. They “increased” knowledge will make it possible for the world viewer to witness the Martyrdom of the Two Witnesses in the Tribulation Time;

(Rev 11:9)  And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. vrs 10  And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

If you aren’t convinced yet that we are nearer to the seven year Tribulation period than ever before, then consider the following article about “laser” beams being used to transfer data at such speeds never yet imagined. It also shows once again how the Bible is true and that these last day prophecies are in fact coming true, for us, in real time. The question you must ask yourself, what are you going to do with these developments. The Bible teaches that all these things are warnings in order to draw us to the Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ before the Judgement of God falls upon the earth. Flee to the Lord now and be saved, if you wait  – it might be too late.  Because of false teachers like Harold Camping who have falsely predicted the exact day of the Rapture of the Church ;  many had been deceived and many are mocking Bible Prophecy today. Just because false prophets are making false predictions, does not negate reality of the truthfulness in God’s Warnings from His Word the Bible!

   “”Computer users who despair over slow internet connections should take heart – German scientists have broken a speed record, sending 700 DVDs’ worth of data via a single laser beam, in one second.

The scientists at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) said this week they had broken the world record by sending data at a speed of 26 terabits per second.

The data, sent over 50 kilometres (31 miles) on a single laser beam, was coded using a system known as orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) in which the laser beam is divided into separate colour streams.

“With 26 terabits per second, you can simultaneously transmit up to 400 million telephone calls per second,” Prof. Jürg Leuthold from KIT said in a statement.

“A few years ago, data rates of 26 terabits per second were deemed utopian even for systems with many lasers, and there would not have been any applications,” he said.

The scientists will now concentrate their efforts on developing systems capable of transmitting between 400 gigabits to 1 terabit per second.

“Our results prove that the physical limits for even extremely high data rates have not yet been reached,” said Leuthold.”"
